Crystal Fung to Host New Beauty Pageant Documentary?
Due to her candidness and relatability, Crystal Fung (馮盈盈) has become a popular variety show host. With Eric Tsang (曾志偉) and Wong Cho Lam’s (王祖藍) return to TVB, the station is exploring different genres of variety shows, and is considering filming a documentary show revolving around beauty pageantry.
As a Miss Hong Kong winner herself, it is said Crystal is designated to host this new show. However, the actress responded that she has not received the official filming notice yet. “If you are asking me whether I can handle experiencing a beauty pageant again, then I will say that I can. I have grown over the past few years, so I am in a better mental place.” She does not mind wearing a swimsuit on stage again, although she “will have to start doing a lot more exercises” for the ideal figure.
Despite her rise as a television host, Crystal’s blunt comments and straightforward personality often attract controversy and gossip. With recent news about her losing followers on social media, she responded, “I really have not paid much attention. I’m not on social media to increase my number of fans or followers. As the saying goes, it’s about the learning process and not the grades. I’m just using my social media platform to share about my life and to give everyone a chance to get to know me better. The ups and down fluctuations of [followers] are normal.”

I don’t find her relatable and almost too candid honestly.
I don’t like her but I’m watching the dub war show (which I really like actually) and is it wrong that I believe her when she’s says she’s trying to be a better actress? I genuinely believe that she’s trying? I feel like this feeling is wrong lol

Looks like Crystal is quick witted and seeks to improve rapidly. This shows by her participation in the voice dubbing competition which I’m sure many would have dodged with the fear of being made to look stupid.
