Daniel Wu Sells His House in San Francisco

After moving to San Francisco a few years ago, Daniel Wu (吳彥祖) has been busy with Hollywood filming projects, advocating against AAPI hate crimes, and taking care of his family. Since transitioning his career from Hong Kong to Hollywood, Daniel has starred in many popular works, including movies such as Tomb Raider, Reminisce, and Geostorm, and television series Westworld.
Together with his wife Lisa S. and daughter, Raven, Daniel is settling well in California. Recently, Daniel successfully sold his home in the Upper Rockridge neighborhood of Oakland. Purchasing the house in 2020 for US$3.9 million, the actor listed it on the market and sold shortly after for an all-cash purchase of US$4.295 million this year. Allegedly, the profit was only US$400,000 from their nearly 4000-square-foot home that boasts five bedrooms and a backyard swimming pool.
Daniel’s decision to sell his house was prompted by the decision to move to Los Angeles for the sake of Raven’s educational planning. Additionally, the move to Los Angeles will also make it more convenient for his Hollywood career.
