Darren Wang Investigated for Attempted Murder of Driver
During an investigation for falsifying medical records to evade military service, Taiwanese actor Darren Wang (王大陸) was also found to be involved in an attempted murder. Authorities found evidence on his phone linking Darren with an attack on a car service driver, who sustained serious injuries.
In April 2024, Darren got into a heated argument with a driver who picked him up at the airport. Darren complained about the incident to his friend You, who then ordered the driver to be beaten brutally. An assault video of the incident was found on Darren’s phone by authorities.
Currently released on bail of NT$5 million, Darren was surrounded by reporters. Dipping his head low, Darren did not respond to any questions.
The son of well-renowned art collector, Wang Tai Ching (王台慶), Darren landed a breakthrough role in the coming-of-age film, Our Times <我的少女時代>, directed by Chen Yu Shan (陳玉珊). Despite finally seeing a shift in his career and popularity, Darren’s career has been marred with one scandal after another. Spotted french-kissing Chen Yu Shan, who was married at the time, the duo was quick to engage in damage control. The director even issued a 2,000-word letter to explain the matter.

@leilei @Hohliu there was a YT clip on C entertainment that causally brought up how some K celebrities aren’t what appear to be in public eyes and KSH’s face appeared in the clip. I was very skeptical back then as there was no supporting photo or anything. Shocked and not shocked since we know different these celebrities can be.
The same channel also recently brought up that ZS’s current life in US. Let’s see if it’s true too.
This guy has always been creepy esp after watching clips of that drama with Li Qin. Just beyond creepy!!
