Deep Ng Was a Player

Although Deep Ng (吳浩康) has been in the industry for many years, he is more well-known for his colorful love life than his singing career. The fickle-hearted Deep has dated countless of models as well as TV Queen Nancy Wu (胡定欣) and TVB artiste Jacqueline Chong (莊思敏). Yet, his most high-profile relationship is perhaps with his ex-fiancee Sherman Chung (鍾舒漫). He was dubbed “Cheap Man of the Century” after he went behind her back and met up with six different girls within one month. It can be said that he has a habit of being unfaithful.

His first girlfriend in the industry was Nancy, whom he met in 1999 when they were both contestants at the TVB International Chinese New Talent Singing Championship <全球華人新秀歌唱大賽>. The two began dating secretly, and it wasn’t until 2004 that they went public with their relationship. Despite Deep’s violent behavior and possession of drugs, Nancy did not give up on him. However, Deep fell for Jacqueline in 2006 and subsequently ended his relationship with Nancy.

Jacqueline, who revealed she is a lesbian, suddenly fell in love with Deep in 2008. Since she comes from a rich family, Deep actively taught boxing and worked in the insurance field to save up for marriage. Unfortunately, their relationship ended in 2011, reportedly because of Deep’s drug addiction and his lack of income. He allegedly relied on Jacqueline to help him pay off his credit card bills, and she later admitted she lent him money.

In 2013, he began dating label mate Sherman, and they frequently made couple appearances at functions. In order to respect Sherman’s religious beliefs, Deep quit smoking and drinking and adopted a more simple lifestyle. However, after the pair got engaged, Deep was caught meeting with six different girls within one month behind Sherman’s back – one of them was wealthy model Yvette. They were spotted holding hands and making out on the streets. The heartbroken Sharman announced their breakup shortly afterward.

Despite his promiscuity, women continued to approach Deep. In 2016, he dated restaurant heiress Michelle, but they broke up after two years. Though Deep initially expressed sadness, he fell in love with Anita Chiu (崔碧珈) one year later. To put it simply, Deep changes women like a girl changes clothes.
