Denice Lam’s Father Warns Her to Stay Out of Trouble

Denice Lam (林鈺洧), Juliette Louie (雷莊兒), and Brian Chu (朱敏瀚) attended the grand opening of Fashion Summit at Kai Tak Shopping Centre. Linked with wealthy businessman Philip Ma (馬清揚), Denice once again clarified the rumors.

Denice’s father Wilson Lam (林俊賢) shared that he minds the rumors between Denice and Philip Ma, advising her not to get into trouble. Denice responded, “Dad doesn’t really pay attention to Hong Kong news. I already denied the rumors before and have not been in contact with Philip. I’m currently single and don’t have any romantic pursuers.” Denice also is unsure what her father means by not getting into any trouble, “He’s never paid attention to my romantic life. I only want to focus on work right now.”

Denice will tell her father if she is dating, but they rarely contact each other. Through the news, Denice learned her father recently returned to Hong Kong. The duo did not celebrate her father’s birthday in person and she only sent a text message with well wishes.

Spotted driving to Philip’s house, Denice clarified she did not own a luxury car but rather a second-hand car. “I still have to pay off the car. I’ll have to do an inspection on the car next year, so I hope to win a car at the awards ceremony so I can save on the fees.”

Meanwhile, former Miss Hong Kong winner Juliette Louie intends to stay in Hong Kong to pursue her career. Although TVB has not reached out to her, ViuTV has been in touch and she is currently looking for an agent. The most important factor is that they understand her. Other than catwalk modeling, Juliette is also interested in singing and acting. “I still have a year contract with Miss Universe so I’ll have to see what the organization decides.” She also plans to teach catwalk and hold pageantry classes in Hong Kong.

Brian shared he would often ask his friends for fashion advice. He is in a group chat called “Save Brian Chu” with Owen Cheung (張振朗) and Kalok Chow (周嘉洛) where they give him fashion tips. “We only talk about work. If we do well in work then everything else will fall into place, including friendship and family. I’m very happy to have met these two good friends.” Asked if his rumored girlfriend Hera Chan (陳曉華) is in the group chat, he said no but will consider adding her in. He also turns to good friends Jeannie Chan (陳瀅) and JW (王灝兒) for fashion advice as well. Kalok has been showing off his muscles in topless photos on Instagram and Brian praised him for his great physique, “Kalok is very hard working and does a lot of exercise. When we went on vacation, he would do pushups immediately after waking up.”
