Derek Tsang and Venus Wong’s Romantic Woodland Themed Wedding!
Derek Tsang (曾國祥) and Venus Wong (王敏奕) tied the knot today in Japan. The elegantly rustic woodland-themed wedding was attended by numerous friends and family, including Derek’s father Eric Tsang (曾志偉) and Jeannie Chan (陳瀅), who uploaded a story of the wedding on her Instagram.
In the video, the groom hyped up the crowd by running down the aisle, high-fiving the guests including his dad Eric Tsang, who was standing up taking photos. Venus then followed, clutching the arms of a friend, as they walked down the aisle with the flower girl and boy in front of them. The atmosphere was lively and energetic, yet also romantic. It was raining, but that didn’t stop the bride and groom from smiling, and the crowds from cheering.
The couple announced their marriage via social media and shared exclusive photos from the wedding. Venus had on a conservative yet elegant long-sleeved bridal gown. Derek, in a blue shirt and brown suspenders, held her up in his arms. The couple tattooed matching rings on their fingers—nine on Derek’s to represent September, and six rings on Venus to represent the sixth.
Venus wrote “06.09.2019,” with the hashtag “DVMMXIX.”
Derek changed his status to “Just married,” and wrote, “Just [got] hitched! Thank you to all my brothers, sisters, and media friends for your blessings. Thankful!”
