“Detective Chinatown” Webdrama Starring Roy Chiu, Janine Chang Drops First Teaser
Following the teaser drop for 2020’s Detective Chinatown 3 <唐人街探案3>, its web drama version spin-off of the same name also released its first trailer, and fans can’t wait to tune in.
Starring rumored couple Roy Chiu (邱澤) and Janine Chang (張鈞甯), the Detective Chinatown web drama is set between during the events of 2018’s Detective Chinatown 2, and stars Roy Chiu as Lin Mo, a private investigator and also the pupil of Tang Ren (played by Wang Baoqiang 王寶強 in the films), who takes his job to Bangok and Tokyo following a series of crimes that are targeting international Chinatowns. Meanwhile, a victim’s widow Ivy (Janine Chang) gets caught in the center of a strange mystery.
Detective Chinatown is produced and written by Chen Sicheng (陳思誠), who directs the films. It also stars Chen Zheyuan (陳哲遠), Cheng Xiao (程潇), and Deng Enxi (鄧恩熙). Check out the teaser below:

王寶強 has simply god-like acting in comedy. only watched detective chinatown 2 and it was absolute one of the best comedy i’ve seen. don’t know if the web drama is going to be on par
@m0m0 If you enjoyed “Detective Chinatown 2,” you’ll probably like the first movie too. I found the first movie to be even funnier, especially with the dynamics at the police station. The story is set in Thailand so there are views of local streets.

have yet to check out the first one. i loved the second one. it was so silly with them running around naked in ny and the homosexual innuendo between him and the irish dude.
I love the movie actors….As for Roy, will give him a miss. But 1 less viewer in me will not hurt the ratings…
