Does Aaron Yan Owe Debt?
Battling harassment claims and lawsuits for more than a year, disgraced Taiwanese boyband Fahrenheit member Aaron Yan (炎亞綸) has been fighting to salvage his career. In May, the 38-year-old received a suspended sentence for his sexual offenses. Putting the past behind him, Aaron has since moved on with his life. In addition to making a comeback and reviving his career in the upcoming sci-fi romance drama, Q18 Quantum Dice: Allegory of the Quantum (Q18量子預言), Aaron also admitted to being in a committed relationship for the past three years.
At the premiere of Q18 Quantum Dice on August 15, Aaron was nowhere in sight due to prior work commitments in Japan. Although he was not in attendance, a black vehicle showed up with large signage calling out Aaron for owing money. In big, bold letters, the sign read, “Aaron Yan, pay back money you owe.” The dramatic incident attracted a lot of attention, with many wondering whether Aaron truly owed money and who was the debtor.
Despite his hopes of cleaning up his image and earning back fans again, Aaron’s messy personal life was still in tangles. His management has not yet responded to the matter and Sanlih E-Television, the network company over Q13 Quantum Dice, expressed they were unaware of the situation.
