Dylan Wang’s New Office Comedy Drama, “Never Give Up”
After the phenomenal success of last year’s Love Between Fairy and Devil <蒼蘭訣>, Dylan Wang Hedi (王鶴棣) is starting 2023 with new office comedy, Never Give Up <今日宜加油>.
Premiering recently on iQiyi, the series revolves around occurrences within the office workplace. The drama also centers around the relationships between office colleagues, leading to many comical and memorable moments.
Starring in a comedy role, Dylan portrays a naïve, cocky, and outspoken office worker who, when asked why his boss in the drama doe not like him, responded that it is because he is “too handsome.”
The drama also stars Zheng Kai (鄭愷) and Chen Yu Qi (陳鈺琪) in main roles, and Nicky Wu (吳奇隆), Zhong Li Li (鐘麗麗), Louis Fan (樊少皇), and others in supporting roles.
At 20 minutes per episode, the easily digestible material aims to be relatable to viewers. Tackling modern day office antics, the drama approaches current topics of interests, such as living conditions, migrant workers in the workplace, an average man’s nine-to-five workday, and technology in a relaxed and light-hearted way.

It’s actually super funny. I heard this is a copy of a Korean drama too, so that might be why it’s been so “fresh” to watch. It’s hilarious so far and I’m only on episode 3.
Not watching for anyone in particular actually, but I like the comedy!
The trailer looks fun…his gel hair is just silly… it is so obvious it is gel. Otherwise Dylan seen to be to carry his role well… Looking forward to it.
Yukee is definitely heavily invested by her company. I think it helps she looks more natural then some actress of her generation, like Ju Jingyi, with the Gov trying to discourage actors who using PS heavily. Yukee is also easy going and this role suit her.
Nicky Wu (吳奇隆) in a supporting role. Slap in the face for Nicky or praise for Dylan. Choose your narrative
Nicky is more like recurrent guest role. Don’t need to take it so seriously. This drama is more sitcomy than an actual drama. It’s a fun watch.
