Edwin Siu and Jinny Ng Play a Married Couple in “Battle of Marriage”

To promote TVB new drama Battle of Marriage <奔跑吧！勇敢的女人們>, the cast Edwin Siu (蕭正楠), Jinny Ng (吳若希), Brian Chu (朱敏瀚) and Winki Lai (賴慰玲) attended a promotional event to greet fans and shared details of the drama.

Edwin teased that the he and Brian are responsible for showing off their skin. In one scene, Edwin even had a nude scene where he only had props to cover his private areas.  Edwin revealed that he had to work out to tone his muscles before filming.

Jinny added that she was not part of Edwin’s nude scene but she made sure to visit the set while it was filming. When Jinny confessed that she doesn’t get the opportunity to see well-built men at home, Edwin she needs to praise her husband more often and shared that Jinny’s husband often visit the set to see her.

Jinny revealed that she plays a good wife in the drama and it mirrors her personality outside of filming, “Everyone misunderstood me that I was acting like myself when I was filming From Hong Kong to Beijing <香港人在北京>. Maybe they don’t know me well. In fact, I am very gentle at home. I admire and tease my husband a lot but I am very supportive of him.”

As Edwin is an expectant father, Edwin made sure to take care of his wife, Priscilla Wong (黃翠如), in between filming and travelling.  He shared that Priscilla’s pregnancy is stable and her belly is becoming very large, “When I touch her belly, there is a big reaction as if they wanted to play with me. I am looking to holding the baby.” Edwin also hoped that the baby will get the best of his and Priscilla’s trait and will have a strong and cheerful personality.

Winki is about to give birth but she still attended the event with the support of her co-stars. Winki shared that she gained more than 30 pounds and joked that she looked like a snowball. Winki’s pregnancy is at its full-term and she hope that she can wait a little longer to give birth to her second son in 2025. When asked if she will try for a daughter in the future, she responded, “Unless there is an accident, I won’t get pregnant again.”

Brian said he likes children and would definitely try for two children when he gets married. When asked if he discussed his plans with his rumored girlfriend Hera Chan (陳曉華), he replied, “I haven’t talked about it. Everyone is focused on work right now.”
