Elaine Yiu is Living With New Millionaire Boyfriend?

Elaine Yiu (姚子羚) is reportedly close to tying the knot with millionaire boyfriend, Cheng Tsz Bong (鄭子邦). Last summer, Elaine allegedly came between Cheng and his former girlfriend Janice Man (文詠珊).

Known as “Taxi Bong”, Cheng is good friends with Miriam Yeung’s (楊千嬅) husband, Real Ting (丁子高). Cheng owns several estates and manages a car business with over one hundred taxicabs and licenses. In addition to his car business, he also opened a popular vegetarian restaurant — Queen of the East — with Real.

According to inside sources, Elaine began dating Cheng after she broke up with former boyfriend Patrick Cheong last summer. Elaine often met with Cheng at his vegetarian restaurant, which she helped promote on social media. The couple share many common interests, including their love and passion for dogs. After only a few months of dating, Elaine moved into Cheng’s residence in Redhill Peninsula.

Last week, Elaine attended the red carpet premiere for Miriam Yeung’s new film, Little Big Master <五個小孩的校長>. When the premiere ended, she left in Cheng’s car.

Soon to Get Married?

The couple are said to be close to tying the knot, as sources close to Cheng have said that he wants to propose to Elaine as soon as possible. He has been asking for tips from married friends on how he should propose.

Elaine later denied the tabloid’s claims that she is dating Cheng, stressing that she is only close friends with the young millionaire. Asked if she will get married this year, Elaine said, “That is definitely not true. I will not be a bride in the year of the goat.”

In regards to the rumors that she is living in with Cheng, Elaine said, “You make it sound like I don’t have a home to go to. Don’t scare away my friends.”

Elaine then said that it is impossible for her to “get married sooner than Myolie Wu (胡杏兒)” and explained that she and Cheng would occasionally do volunteer work together. She denied the reports that Cheng is pursuing her. “We usually go out with a group of friends. I would not think so much.”

The 34-year-old expressed her disappointment at how often tabloids refer to her as a gold-digger, that she only has eyes for rich men. “I like to work myself!”

She did not, however, outright deny the possibility of being with Cheng in the future. “If we’re right for each other, we’ll naturally be together.”
