Elaine Yiu: “Myolie Wu is Not Dating Anyone Now!”
Bosco Wong’s (黃宗澤) spirits have apparently recovered since breaking up with Myolie Wu (胡杏兒), according to Elaine Yiu (姚子羚). Currently filming A Good Heart Goes Haywire <好心作怪>, Elaine revealed that Bosco did not appear to be in dampened spirits, as reported earlier by tabloids.
“He looks very handsome. I do not sense that he is unhappy,” Elaine commented on Bosco’s demeanor on the set of A Good Heart Goes Haywire. Although Elaine is Myolie’s good friend, Bosco has not asked about her about Myolie. Nor was Elaine interested in finding out about Bosco’s current dating status.
Since breaking up with Bosco, Myolie has been rumored with Nancy Wu’s (胡定欣) younger brother and Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲霄II> costar, Adrian Chau (周志文). Denying the rumors, Myolie made it clear that she is not interested in dating younger men.
Asked if Myolie is currently dating a new boyfriend, Elaine replied, “Not from what I know.” Earlier, Elaine had commented that Myolie has many choices, as she possessed access to a large group of male friends, whom she introduced them to Elaine and her female friends.
Elaine revealed that she had several pursuers outside the entertainment industry who are currently interested in her. A feng shui master had advised Elaine that her true marriage destiny will occur when she turns thirty-six or thirty-seven years old.

Ever since watching Bottled Passion, I’ve grown to like Elaine and her acting. I think she’s pretty and is one of the better supporting actresses at TVB. Hope her true love will appear like the feng shui master claims.

I’m not surprised if she had something done to her face but her acting has improved from the time of RDOV and SG.
Actually, most if not all actors/actresses look better since their debut due to better skincare, make-up and possibly plastic surgeries.
Many actors have deteriorating skin conditions in what I observed while it is the opposite for actresses. Don’t really understand since they are subjected to the same work environment and conditions. Maybe guys don’t take care of their skin as much. Agree that overall they still look better, maybe gain charisma as well.
Her acting has improved over times, I think she suits the evil characters like in Sergeant Tabloid and the characters like in BP, she has that charisma and her expressions really suit those. I dont know about ‘good’ or ‘nice’ characters… any examples ?
She does play evil characters well. I remember she was really irritating in Revolving Doors of Vengeance. I really hated her character then. Think that was before she had work done to her face. Am pretty surprised that TVB has been promoting her progressively considering she is not one of the prettier actresses. Just my opinion.
She has a unique look, I like her. They need to give her more roles & exposure so that she has a chance to polish up on her acting skills further.
