Eliza Sam Already 5 Months Pregnant; Will Keep Baby’s Gender a Surprise

After marrying Joshua Ngo in 2016, Eliza Sam (岑麗香) decided resigning from TVB and has significantly reduced her workload to focus on her new married life. The couple’s hope of starting a family has finally been realized, as Eliza is currently five months pregnant.

Eliza recently attended her first event since announcing her pregnancy this week. Though many women are extra cautious during their first pregnancy, the 34-year-old actress attended the event in four-inch heels.

Smiling from ear-to-ear, Eliza revealed that she is already five months pregnant. Joshua is undoubtedly excited to be a father, but Eliza is even more excited about being a mother. Despite their joy, the couple plan to keep the baby’s gender a surprise. “I have been looking at baby clothes. [Since I do not know the baby’s gender], I have mainly been looking at gender-neutral clothing colors like white and yellow. I want to be able to work until I give birth. I plan to continue working after having a baby, as I want to have a good work-life balance.”

While pregnant, Eliza continued to exercise to reduce bloating. “Right now, I do simple yoga and consistently massage my face. I’m afraid my face will be bloated! My due date is April 2019, so it will be a little pig baby! I want to keep the baby’s gender a surprise. We’ll see how long I can last without knowing. When I go for my checkups, I tell the doctor not to tell me!”
