Fala Chen and Michelle Ye Rumored to Film “Sisters Who Make Waves 3”

Popular Chinese reality show Sisters Who Makes Waves <乘風破浪的姐姐> is set to start filming its third season. Their official Weibo account just announced that they will be changing its name to Making Waves <乘風破浪>.

Adding to the buzz, there are many rumored cast lists being circulated on the Internet. Yesterday, an updated cast list was circulated and many previous cast names were removed including Sandy Lam ( 林憶蓮), Li Bingbing (李冰冰), Carina Lau (劉嘉玲), Rene Liu (劉若英), Alyssa Chia (賈靜雯), Gillian Chung (鍾欣潼), Selina Ren (任家萱) and AGA (江海迦). The new list includes nine Hong Kong stars: Coco Lee (李玟), Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍), Vincy Chan (泳兒), Fiona Sit (薛凱琪), Carman Lee (李若彤), Irene Wan (溫碧霞), Celina Jade (盧靖珊), Michelle Ye (葉璇), and Fala Chen (陳法拉).

Many of Fala’s fans rushed to her Instagram to ask if the rumors were true, but it seems unlikely that she is preparing to return to China for filming as she is still posting photos of herself overseas.

As for Taiwanese stars, the new list includes A-Lin (黃麗玲) and Ariel Lin (林依晨). However A-Lin is preparing to release a new album at the end of next month after a four-year hiatus, so her participation seems unlikely. This week, Ariel attended a promotional event and disclosed that she plans to take part in two movies and one drama this year. As Ariel’s schedule is already packed, the authenticity of the “leaked” list is not high.
