Fala Chen Confirmed to Star in “The Ballad of a Small Player”

Fala Chen (陳法拉) has announced that she will be joining the cast of Netflix film The Ballad of a Small Player. This is Fala’s third Hollywood film after Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire and Shang-Chi And The Legend Of The Ten Rings.

Combining paranormal and psychological thriller elements, Ballad of a Small Player is adapted from a best-selling novel by Lawrence Osbourne. The story revolves around a gambler and con man who moves to Macau to run away from his debt and troubles. Meeting other ghosts in the casino, he confronts his past and takes a step towards his own salvation.

Colin Farrell will be the male lead while Tilda Swinton will make a special appearance in the movie. Principal photography for Ballad of a Small Player will start in the summer. Filming will take place in Asia.
