Fala Chen Despises Vincent Wong for Drinking With Daniel Sit?
Fala Chen (陳法拉) and Vincent Wong (王浩信) portray a romantic couple in the currently filming drama, Will Power <傳愛事務所>. Ironically, the two are reportedly not even friends once the camera stops rolling. In fact, Fala’s facial expressions openly showed how she is not fond of Vincent. Whenever Vincent had an outtake, Fala reportedly angrily remarked, “What? You just had another outtake, so we have to film it again? How many times do we have to film this?”
The main reason behind Fala’s behavior is because Vincent liked to invite her alleged husband, Daniel Sit (薛世恒), and others, out for late night drinks. One time, Daniel and Sharon Chan (陳敏之) had so much fun that they exhibited intimate behavior. Daniel buttoned Sharon’s shirt and chatted with her closely. From Fala’s viewpoint, everything was Vincent’s fault. In rage, she reportedly told her husband to distance himself from Vincent.
Daniel is Neway Star’s heir, and allegedly, Fala married him in the United States in 2008. The couple own two homes in the United States. Being rich and handsome, it is not surprising that Daniel easily attracts women. Last year, rumors spread thatHotcha’s member, Regen Cheung (張惠雅), flirted with Daniel while Fala was away from Hong Kong. After the incident, Regen suddenly quit her band and flew to Australia to study. Rumors spread that this had been Fala’s order.
Ever since, Fala would pay close attention to her husband’s whereabouts, preventing any addition of a third party member. Last year in November, she flew to Europe to film for Triumph in the Skies 2 <衝上雲宵 II>, and was unable to look after Daniel. Fala had some friends report to her about his situation, and apparently, Daniel continued to hang out with Vincent and other women.
Boiling with anger, Fala spoke zero words with Vincent behind the camera when filmingThe Love Firm. When Vincent tried to talk to her, she pretended he did not exist and played on her phone. Asked about the relationship with Fala, Vincent said, “We’re only concentrating on filming and rarely talk. Maybe everyone is on different levels.”
Did Vincent always call Daniel out at night? He replied, “Daniel and I are friends. I think going out to eat and drink is very normal. I didn’t know Fala doesn’t like it!”
When Fala was questioned about the situation, she dodged the press and claimed she was busy. “I’m not responding to this!” She said, and hurriedly walked away.

I wonder how true this article is. Some of the articles of Fala’s were not true or exaggerated.
Yes, reporters like to tell stories and never remember where they left off. I know I read an article not too long ago about speculations (cause that’s what they are) that Fala wanted OUT of the relationship… now she wants to play control freak? Aiyah!!!

@bubblez Yes, there are some articles that are true but they can also be exaggerated to get people to buy their magazines. There are also a lot of half-truths in case you can’t tell by the various articles around here. Also, even the nicest actors/actresses have “bad” news about them unless they’re unknown.

There hasn’t been favorable news of Fala lately. It’s always about her being angry about something/someone I’ve noticed. Is it just the media distorting stuff?

i’ve always gotten the impression (starting from MCI to now) that she’s snobby and think’s she’s better than everyone.
She needs a major breakout role (like kate in highs and lows) to change the media perception of her. Maybe triumph in the skies 2.
she does give that snobbish impression. also fala should be aware that this is the risk of being with a wealthy and good looking second generation who likes to socialize.she can’t expect him to be alone bored at home while fala herself is too busy chasing her dream career and maybe hardly spend time with daniel! not surprised that he looks for pleasure and enjoyment outside during her absence at work!

I was thinking that too. Whenever something occurs over and over again(unless it is sooo ridiculous that it can’t be true) then there is usually some truth to it. I guess even if it is true, Fala does not seem to care at all…
I guess Fala Chen is too lucky. She got a pretty face, a good acting career, and a rich boyfriend/husband. Perhaps she is over-confident and gives people that kind of snobbish look. I don’t know her myself, so I am not in a position to comment, but I know that many people are jealous of her.
Fala is a pretty, smart, determined and hard working woman. She wouldn’t have to work so hard to make money as she already has a rich boyfriend/husband.
I personally think that she looks like she is lucky from the outside, but inside there can be many problems that we don’t know about. As Charmaine said, just because you marry someone rich does not mean that the money is yours. Also, you never know when you will experience problems and then your boyfriend/husband can dump or divorce you. Therefore, it is always good to rely on yourself and have a back up plan. The problems of marrying someone rich or marrying into a rich family can be a big pain as well. Overall, I can say that I personally am not jealous of her because I would not want to be in the position that she is.

You could be right. Fala has to learn to get along with media and her co-stars well. Perhaps she does not care as she is not in need of money. She only wants to get job satisfaction.

Steven Ma commented on the current fadans. He mentioned he is closest to linda, tavia and fala. He once informed the press that it isnt fala is a bad person, but rather is very confident with herself. And that she is very defensive but not the kind where she is aware of her faults and tries to defend herself. Rather the defensive type to protect herself. Some people find this kind of trait hard to get along with but others understand why this kind of attitude is needed to survive in this industry.

I guess it is very hard to be a nice and successful actress. There is just too much competition in TVB. Everyone has to be super confident of herself no matter her acting is good or not. I heard it from all the artistes nominated for awards.
You can’t please everyone and can’t be loved and liked by everyone. Even if you are hated by many, there are bound to some that will like and get along with you.I heard that Wong Hei as hard to get along with too,but Linda really likes him and said he is a good person. I think I personally would have problems getting along with people like Fala if what you are saying is true about her. I had some classmates like that and could not stand them… They were always competitive and think they are better than others.

I don’t even think its about the competition. Some people with a little gold and popularity turns them into a monster. Therefore, like Steven said, Fala’s personality is fitted to survive in the industry. I mean, if you can’t even protect yourself, no one will. People will eat you. It’s a man eat man world. Yup, I too, at times, find people with that whole ‘defensive’ type trait kind of annoying. But in Fala’s case I think its needed to survive from all the two face in the industry.
The way this article is written makes Fala sound like a crazy control freak and insecure lass, but if you think about it some more…it doesn’t mention anything if Fala actually knew about it before hand. If she did know, and still upset.. k trust is definintely an issue. But if she didn’t and read a magazine having her husband’s name all over about this, about that, with him, her, it… yeah normal girl’s reaction is ‘WTH’

I find it weird that she doesn’t have a close relationship or talk to Vincent seeing that he is one of her bf’s close friends.
She was close to Sharon and Christine Ng at one stage but dunno if that’s still the case after what happened between Sharon and Daniel. I’m assuming she would be upset at Sharon too if that story is true.
But she does have friends in the industry! It’s not like everyone hates her. Saw how she kissed and hugged Tavia when she won Best Actress, they’re so sweet! And also Steven who hugged her when she won Best Supporting Actress, they both looked genuinely happy. She invited Sharon over to her place and cooked for her before. Shared bday with Christine.

Does Fala have such power?
I had read that Regen actually had a fling with Ernie (who is the head of Newaystar)… and that Margie was the one who freaked out and had her fired from Hotcha at which point Regen went on “sabbatical” for a bit to escape the heat.
To me, this makes much more sense since Ernie is the head of Hotcha’s company, and Margie is Ernie’s wife…
We also know (if we believe HK media) that Margie doesn’t get along with Fala… so why would Margie/Ernie fire Regen for playing around with Daniel? Would they damage one of their groups for her? Probably not…

Fala should either choose her marriage or her career…rarely do those two go together smoothly as one take precedence over the over. Beauty has a very short lifespan as people get fickled very quickly. Cherish or exploit now or lose it and regret it later.
