Fala Chen Finishes Filming “The Ballad of a Small Player”

This summer, Fala Chen (陳法拉) was in Hong Kong to film Netflix movie The Ballad of a Small Player. Besides meeting with her former TVB colleagues, Fala also became good friends with the cast of The Ballad of a Small Player.

The movie is directed by Edward Berger of All Quiet on the Western Front. The movie also stars Colin Farrell and Tilda Swinton. The Ballad of a Small Player is adapted from a bestselling novel, set in the gambling casinos of Macau; it follows the fortunes of an English con man who passes himself off as a runaway Lord.

She has already finished filming in Hong Kong and Macau and shared photos of the wrap up on her social media, thanking every member of the crew. “That’s a wrap on the Ballad of a Small Player! Grateful forever for the beautiful people I got to know.” It seemed like they had a fun time filming, in one of her photos, Colin and Edward were imitating an iconic scene from Titanic.
