Fala Chen Returns to Work to Repay Her “Debt”

Fala Chen (陳法拉), who is currently on her midterm break from The Juilliard School in New York, has flown back to Asia to “repay her debts”. On February 24, also Fala’s 35th birthday, the actress flew to Beijing to make an event appearance. She then flew to Hong Kong to do a few more magazine photoshoots and a commercial film.

The actress, who has dedicated her time to school in the last three years, is grateful that she is still being offered endorsements during her hiatus in the industry. Many sponsors still consistently reach out to Fala’s agency, hoping to book a time with her.

Fala, grateful for the opportunities, would always fly back to Hong Kong to “repay her debts” during her term breaks. Fala said, “I went to Beijing, Guangzhou, Shanghai and Hong Kong all in one week. There hasn’t been time for me to sleep, but I have never been happier about the lack of rest.”
