Fala Chen Wants to Explore Her Dreams After Leaving TVB
Nine months after her contract with TVB expired, Fala Chen (陳法拉) shared that she now has more freedom to spend with family, experience the world for herself, and explore her dreams.
During her seven years at TVB, Fala rarely had the opportunity to make her own decisions, since her schedule was all arranged by someone else. As a result, she could sometimes be very narrow-minded, seeing only one aspect of the situation. Now that she is a free agent, however, she can go out in the world herself and gain new experiences.
Fala revealed that although her standards for herself are even higher than before, she is much happier and more relaxed now than when she was at TVB. “I have a lot more free time to spend with family,” she said. “For many years in the past, I spent the holidays at work, but this year, I was able to go back to the United States to celebrate the Lunar New Year with my family.”
After the holiday celebrations, Fala plans to take on more filming projects and business performances, saying she hopes to continue acting until she is 50 or 60 years old. She also wishes to challenge herself by working with new directors and actors and in different filming environments. “Every day will be an entirely new attempt,” she declared. “I like new challenges, so I have already made preparations to greet them.”
Although she admitted that work is her current priority and will take precedence over starting a new romantic relationship, Fala shared that she also wants to take some time off to explore her dreams. “Right now, I finally have some reserves and not too much financial pressure,” she explained, “so I’d like to go out and look for my dreams for a little while.”

love Fala, it seems to me that it is saver to stay in TVB….however, response her decision…hope she get what she want!

Not to be mean but sounds like she’s jobless to me. These scripts and projects that she speaks of never really happen. However, I do wish her the best.
It could be that it’s not reported.. We never hear about what’s filming in China unless it’s a “huge” production or with a well-known Mainalnd Chinese celebrity..
If Fala is truly that known then wouldn’t we hear about all of the projects that she is involved in? Unless she is truly not known in China. Maybe she is unemployed since it is easy to be unemployed in this business.
That’s what I am saying… I’m saying that Fala isn’t well known… Hence the projects she is involved in, we do not hear about.. The “huge” production with a stellar cast (eg. Ruby Lin, Cecilia, Nicky, etc.) is always reported. But the “smaller to scale” productions aren’t reported..
I think she does have offers, but Fala is the ambitious type. I think she just doesn’t want to take on any projects, but rather the ones that have a stellar cast + good script, which might mean a big hit.

n she had not been acted on any of the shows of tvb hongkong but on the triumph in the skies II tvb she only acted on that show
