First Look at Bosco Wong and Kate Tsui’s Bed Scenes in “Lives of Omission”
Following The Other Truth < 真相, TVB aired new series, Lives of Omission <潛行狙擊> on Monday, August 1st in Hong Kong. Although the ratings for its first week of broadcast were unavailable yet, the series appeared compelling from the trailer clips.
With mafia wars serving as the backdrop for Lives of Omission, explosive action scenes were expected. The hottest scenes may actually be the love scenes between gangster, Bosco Wong (黄宗澤), and his childhood friend, Kate Tsui (徐子珊). In one scene, Kate’s face appeared contorted in passion in their love scenes. Bosco and Kate started kissing on the living room sofa. Kate shifted her thighs and Bosco kissed her fiercely. The scene was extremely passionate! Perhaps this may have been the reason why Myolie Wu (胡杏兒) had to mark boyfriend, Bosco, carefully in case he yielded to Kate’s passion!
In another daring scene, Michael Tse’s (謝天華) superior in the police department, Fala Chen (陳法拉), was almost raped by a group of triad members. Fala’s jeans were removed by the gangsters. Fortunately, Michael arrived on the scene and saved her.

Jayne: Both Bosco and Kate excel in passionate scenes, so there should be a lot of sparks in Lives of Omission between them!
They have to thank Charmaine, if not with Charmaine’s departure from TVB, I don’t think TVB will heavily promote them.

Aiya, I think it’s hard to be aroused when there are so many cameras and cast and crew filming! If porn star, Hiro Hayama, could not get aroused on the set of “3D Sex and Zen” with more advanced contact, I doubt other male stars will.
Plus male stars have to be careful how immersed they are in kissing scenes, otherwise the female actresses may say they got taken advantage of in the situation.

Basically, if the actor goes too far in passionate scenes and the actress yells “sexual harassment,” his reputation can be easily ruined. So it’s important to have good communication before such love scenes and talk about what places can be touched during filming.

Did you know that when Bosco filmed “The Price of Greed,” he had a crush on Kate Tsui? If Kate were interested in Bosco, it would have happened many years ago.
Kate might have a sultry image and be more open when playing love scenes, but that may not necessarily mean that she wants to seduce Bosco. There are only like 2 dozen male and female leads that we see in series again and again. TVB is still a small family in that sense. I think artists exercise respect and draw boundaries whenever possible. No one wants to be called a “third party” unecessarily.
If there were true intent to steal another woman’s boyfriend, it would be foolish to do it during filming on camera.

In an interview dated around 2006 or 2007, after the filming of “The Price of Greed,” Bosco admitted that he had a crush on Kate Tsui during the filming of the series. After the filming completed, he said he withdrew from the character and he managed to control his feelings again. Kate was the only actress Bosco openly admitted to having a crush on.
“War of In-Laws” was filmed in 2004. I think Myolie was still dating her ex-boyfriend at that time. Since “The Price of Greed” was filmed after “War of In-Laws,” I guess Bosco and Myolie were good friends with good chemistry then, but did not start dating until 2006?
I am a little uncertain about the time line myself. Anyone have additional details to share?

I’m not saying Bosco isn’t a faitful/loyal partner but many artists got “together” due to their long hour of shooting which eventually created interest towards each others. Remember Chilam and charmaine? anita visited their shooting scene because Charmaine was rumoured as someone who is flirty and a bf snatcher. i think Anita was just being cautious before it’s too late.
yeh Charmaine’s someone you gotta be careful of if your boyfriend/husband is working with her. She’s known to send out ‘electricity’ with her flirtatious personality. Look what happened to Niki Chow – her bf stolen because she didn’t watch her bf closely on set and she was filming mainland series at the time. So Charmaine had a chance and snatched Kevin away.

Ironically, Charmaine didnt ended up being with any male artist from the series she was in lol. I’m not a Charmaine’s hater here but I find that really interesting. People claimed Char is a bf snatcher,etc etc but Char didn’t end up being any gf of the male artist she co-star with. Even for Kevin, I’m not sure how true the news was but maybe Charmaine and Kevin really got together due the sparks they both had in the series they shot in but they didnt last long.. and chilam…like it was never happen at all between them..when Anita is known as a very fierceful gf/wife lol..maybe too hard to snatch Chilam from anita has a tight security? Actually, Charmaine admitted to dating Benny Chan in Stephen Chan’s interview show Be My Guest. Benny Chan was her co-star.
The Niki-Kevin-Charmaine is pretty much an open secret in the industry.
– People behind the scenes talked about it
– Amigo’s interview show with Niki indirectly mentioned it, asking her about unfaithful boyfriends etc
– Producer Lee Tim Sing said he didn’t want to put them together to make them feel awkward
– Niki was clearly down and sad over the weeks when the news came out about Kevin-Charmaine… and she took an interview with Eileen Cha at the time.
– Niki and Kevin are not Weibo friends even though they know each other and have so many mutual friends
– They used to answer so sweetly about each other but now Niki’s response is ‘I don’t want to talk about it’ or ‘Please don’t mention this person’
– Charmaine and Kevin were caught together several times including going to her place etc and being intimate on set. Now they don’t even have contact seen/talk with each other. Suddenly changed from ‘good friend’s that hanged out together one on one’ to ‘acquaintances’. They’ve broken up now but they were once together. And that was when he was still going out with Niki.
No doubt Charmaine’s success at TVB is probably due to her hard work (and/or kissing producers/620 feet) and she should have good work ethics. But can’t say the same to her personal life outside work. Whether or not she’s ethical when dealing with romantic/social relationships is another story.
Its happened more than once. Kevin was not just a lone case. She’s been branded a home-wrecker on several occasions. It may not all be true but I’m sure a few of those allegations in there were. It makes me believe it even more when she issued a statement regarding her recent rumor with that married businessman. I don’t understand why she issued a statement that time around but not in response to other rumors in the past. She is hiding something and she’s not as pure/innocent/nice as she appears to be. She’s an actress so i’m sure she can put on a good act.

Kevin didn’t end things with Niki when he was caught together with Charmaine. That’s why she was shocked and surprised and didn’t know what was going on when the media asked her. Because if she was dumped beforehand, she would of gotten over it by the time Kevin went out with Charmaine which would of occur way after they broke up not immediately. Niki’s reaction was basically finding out her bf’s cheating via the media.
Niki’s personality is the more playful, open, down to earth type, so she usually doesn’t hold grudges against ppl like that. how can u blame everything on charmaine when the real culprit is kevin. did he cheat on niki or did he simply dump her so he could be with charmaine? who really knows the timeline? if kevin tells charmaine he is single and available, why is it her fault?

josie, you naive. How do you know Charmain is not mistress of any rich man? (I’m not saying she is) but there are many actress who are mistress of rich men but they never caught, or maybe the time period of being a mistress was short and nobody find out. The truth is, we don’t know if Charmaine is a mistress of a wealthy man. We are only forming our conclusions of her from deductions, from perceiving her personality over time, how she carries herself, etc. From what I’ve seen, Charmaine has a high EQ (which is praised not only by viewers, but also an open secret for those artists who has worked with her before), independent, smart, and experienced. She herself stated that she knows how to make money herself and doesn’t need a man to support her financially. She claims that she wants someone who she loves, loves her back, can make her happy, and that she can communicate with on a deeper level. From how she carries herself to what she’s said during interviews, that’s how our opinions of her is formed.
Just because some actresses are willing to be mistresses doesn’t mean everyone will. If you take a look at Charmaine’s personality, does she seem to possess the mentality of using a man’s money if she wasn’t interested in them?
Yes, it’s true that some women don’t mind being the mistress and Anita was one of them who admitted it on Be My Guest. Some actresses need the money and will do it for that reason.
LOL…I used to follow their news. and I stalk their Weibo. News spread for a reason because it did happen…everyone at TVB knows about this. But of course, its up to you whether or not to believe it.
I of course believe that Charmaine was the third wheel who came between Niki and Kevin. Crew members felt pity for Niki after Charmaine started bragging and also felt that Kevin was an a**hole for two-timing.
I believe it because these details are so specific: what she said, what crew members thought/saw etc. If it wasn’t true, someone from TVB would of stepped out and said no this wasn’t true. In fact, I think the people in question aka Kevin would have stepped out and said no its got nothing to do with Charmaine etc. He didn’t. He avoided the media and avoided answering questions and didn’t clarify anything. To me, if a person doesn’t come out to clarify then that person is guilty.
Just like Charmaine, if she was innocent and she didn’t have anything to do with the breakup, why didn’t she or specifically Kevin come out to clarify these rumors. Why did she have to issue a statement and attempt to sue the magazine for saying she’s the mistress of that businessman recently? She feels so strongly about these tabloids ‘making up stories’ about her and felt so upset that she goes through all the trouble to get a lawyer etc but she does nothing and remains silent over her rumors of breaking up Kevin and Niki? Why not sue the tabloids for defamation? Because its true?

It’s true that they can find jobs easier than a normal person, but maybe that’s not enough pay. I remember when Ada’s mother was indebted as a result of her bad gambling habits, Ada paid off her mother’s debt using a man’s money. Ada was a Ms. HK 2nd runner up and had a successful and promising career with TVB, but apparently that wasn’t enough to pay off her mother’s debts.

It was in her earlier days when she was a mistress. I don’t remember the exact reason why she was a mistress, but I believe she enjoyed the feeling that a man would shower her with many materialistic gifts. And women loves the feeling of being pampered.
I think you overestimated a MHK’s salary. They don’t turn into a rich socialite over night. They still need to work hard, network with the right people, and give good performances. They experience their own level of stress. And being humans, we would always want better. While it’s morally wrong to be the mistress of a married man, it’s understandable and it’s human nature that women wants to be loved and pampered on a materialistic level. Anita probably had this mentality.
I was surprised too myself, but a few days ago, my sister told me that many MHK purchase their dresses from thrifty stores. Kayi Cheung was one of them and she was MHK winner in 2007. 🙂
My point is that the title MHK doesn’t mean that much and doesn’t bring one loads of money. However, the title does get one noticed and brings one more opportunities. Whether they know how to take advantage of these opportunities to build their image and maybe over 10 years or so, they will become more famous and their salaries will increase over time, like Charmaine.

Now it seems like TVB and the actors are more comfortable with doing bed scenes. Also there seems to be a lot of “rape” scenes. I can name quite a few in just the last year of series TVB has screened.
Could it really be because of the new boss who want a new direction for TVB?
I also notice that TVB’s series lately has a lot of ‘daring’ scenes. I’m surprised no one complained about Aimee’s rape scene in TOT.

Yes, there have definitely been a lot of kissing and passionate scenes in the TVB series recently. And Bosco and Kate do them well. But I hope they don’t have scenes like that in almost every episode they’re in together! It gets a bit tiring after seeing them kissing in almost every episode! LOL! And poor Kate-she seems to be the actress doing most of them since Fala refuse to do them! And I think Tavia and Linda have been doing less kissing scenes now compared to before! Tavia used to have to do a lot too before getting popular.
Interesting. Sex sells, more so when one actress’ acting is disputed and the other actor’s acting is to me not quite there yet.

The 3 male actors are doing well in this series but Fala and Kate are miscast. Fala can’t handle the police superintendent role! She looks like a confused chick without any sense of power and authority. Kate also don’t make a believable lawyer.

If it’s JSG, weirder because they 3 have never sang in JSG together. Recently they 3 went to JSG but only LF performed, Ron and Kate dun sing. The only time when they 3 performed together is LF’s last year concert, Miss HK last year and LF’s Macau concert in the beginning of 2011. In all 3 time, 2R did a duet for Illusion (although Ron’s voice is kinda hard to hear), Kate dun sing, just danced and mumbled “Let’s get wet, Let’s get wet.” In the Macau one, Ron sang “Red butterfly” alone but Kate dun sing.
I can’t recall of any other chance where they 3 are together and sing.
Side question, which Ron’s song you like? I guess it’s Red butterfly? Or Don’t blame her?

I like Red Butterfly, too. The song is very nice. However haizz, Ron isn’t the best choice for this song. He can’t reach to high notes of it. However, the song is still nice.
If the duet with Linda, it’s Sum Ling. If for MR, it’s Oi But Gau. Oi But Gau is LF’s biggest hit (lol) but in some first time he sang it live, he failed and went offkey once. Now he can control the song. I think his singing technique improved a lot after being a singer.

LF became an official singer (signed a singing contract and released album) from 2007. Before that he has a singing contract but this music company dun have any music work to him. So his singing career is considered to start on 2007.
Ron signed a singing contract and released an EP before LF, in 2005. Kate signed and released EP in 2009. However her singing career is almost died because her music company did the M&A, caused her contract to end. Now she dun have a music company so she dun release albums anymore.

Haven’t really heard of Ron’s singing in person but I certainly heard it from his latest series which was aired few weeks ago, in W&W. His singing is definitely is dull to listen and kate’s singing isn’t that great either. Kinda boring with same tone all the way. Really hate to admit this but LF aka Ray sings better than these 2 and like i said before, I dont hate Ray, i still listen to his songs although I dislike his personal life character.
I hope Wong Cho Lam released another album and let him sing more slow songs. I love his rendition of 跌落凡間的天使, the song he dedicated to Leanne (he wrote the lyrics).

I just watched the first episode of LOO. After watching GJ and TOT, I feel Myolie and Tavia did a better job as a barrister than Kate. She was like reading a book,and just staring.. and her voice was weirdly pitched?
As for Fala, I feel she lacks the dominance and strength required for a Madam. Her speech is bad too… she doesn’t speak as clearly and tends to ‘slur’.. as in annotation is not good, perhaps its her accent. Sometimes you have to read the subtitles to make out what she’s saying. It was alright in No Regrets, but it seems like it’s gone backwards in LOO. But for a non-Canto speaker she’s pretty good. She just needs to practice a bit in pronouncing each word clearly and not just ‘take shortcuts’.
I just saw it too. Kate is not even acting. She’s reading her lines!
yeh first episode, where she was talking to her barrister master in his office and he was watering plants. She just sat there, and spoke in this deep monotone (her voice is usually more high pitched than that) … like a robot haha… No emotions no eye blinking … it felt so uncomfortable and weird!!
Yah she’s just like a robot who read lines form a book! I bet her award winning role in Eye in The Sky is because the director of that movie has high demands and we don’t know how many times she NGed! Her acting is consistently bad besides of her first movie with Johnnie To!

Well, how much I like her, I don’t think she can fill HKC (at least 8000 ppl per nite). But a mini concert in smaller place is possible. Her fanbase isn’t too small at all in HK :P. I saw she has more fans than Fala in LOO function.
BTW, she needs more songs first. LF when open first concert, although he already had 3 albums, he was still be criticized of “not enough songs to sing”. So with 1 EP, Kate can’t open even a mini concert.
Among the actresses, Myolie opened 2 mini concerts. Linda is going to open a mini concert (She is smart. She can’t sing live 30++ songs in a whole concert. 15 to 20 songs in a mini concert is better for her. Plus the mini concert will have less seats than a full concert.) Among actor, Ron had a mini concert. Kevin also had a mini concert.

I mean I dun see many artists who has several hundreds fans to go for a function in HK. The number I saw for an artist in a TVB function is usually less than 100.

A little hard to compare but I think even the pre-sex scene was more ‘daring’ as there was no body contact btw Fala and the attempted rapist…it just showed him unbuckling her belt and loosening it, then the camera pans onto her lower body and the gangsters attempted to pull down her shorts (did not get p ulled down at all btw) and btw that could be a body double no? Just at that moment, Michael runs in hehe
