Fred Cheng Holds Second Personal Concert This September

Dressed in a red suit, singer and actor Fred Cheng (鄭俊弘) attended a press conference for an upcoming personal concert today. Besides receiving support from the boss, producers, and sponsors, the venue attracted nearly one hundred excited fans. Many of them wore a red t-shirt to match the concert’s theme and held signs to cheer their idol on.

Fred’s red-themed concert will be held in September, and it is his second personal concert since his first one last November. He explained that the colour red describes his hot and fiery passion for music. Extremely excited and happy, Fred exclaimed, “Thank you to all the organizers and the company for taking this risk and having confidence in me to run the concert. Thank you to my boss!”

At the moment, Fred revealed he is busy recording his second album and will sing some of the new songs at his concert. “I hope the audience will be able to hear and feel my fiery passion. I’ve also matured over the past year, and hopefully this concert will be able to demonstrate that.” Although some songs require Fred to dance onstage, he laughed and expressed it will not be as intense as Korean pop.

In preparation for the concert coming along in two months, Fred has hired a trainer to help him exercise. He works out at the gym and goes running every day. When asked if Fred plans to reveal his abs during the show, he expressed, “I won’t be directly revealing myself from the front, but there will be snips and bits of exposure.”

Fred added that the guests who will appear at his concert are not confirmed yet, as he is still trying to accommodate everyone’s schedules. Moreover, he shared that being able to hold a concert in the Hong Kong Coliseum is definitely a goal for the future and hopes to have this dream come true within the next two years.
