Grace Chan Cooks for Kevin Cheng’s 48th Birthday
Grace Chan (陳凱琳) is checking out the list on how to be the perfect girlfriend. The TVB actress took time off to prepare a lavish homemade meal for her boyfriend Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), who turned 48 years old on August 15.
The 26-year-old actress shared her masterpiece on Instagram last Monday, writing, “The most simple is the most romantic. Happy birthday.”
Grace didn’t specify who she was talking about, but with Kevin’s birthday around, it wasn’t hard to guess that she had probably just gave her boyfriend a little birthday surprise.
Kevin and Grace confirmed their relationship in mid-2015, soon after the two collaborated in the TVB drama Blue Veins <殭>. The couple have been together ever since.

SHESH, can the writing be anymore OVER THE TOP???
“lavish homemade meal”
“shared her masterpiece”
Umm, no. It’s just some freaking some boiled spaghetti, unsliced whole garlic, butter or oil and steam (probably boiled with the noodle) asparagus. Mmm, wine glasses are empty. So it’s the thought that counts. But the writing, oh shesh… lol!
@jjwong
Oh, you forgot what looks like a dry,overcooked piece of salmon on the side with sprinkles of black pepper. Never seen such a combination before. What a mess!
@jimmyszeto Wait, that’s salmon?!? O_o I thought it was garlic butter toast… LMAO! Honestly, she tried. No complaint there. It’s the writer of this article and their OTT… Maybe this is why she thinks she can do no wrong. They fed her ego and bumped her airhead, lol.
@jjwong
Yeh it’s definitely salmon. In the left pic, it shows how dry it is by the flaking.Spaghetti with salmon is already a big ‘no no’. Also the salmon has been placed skin side down. Wow. Is she really from the west? Sorry. I’m very analytic when it comes to food.
Really!!!!!!!!! a plain home cooked meal made headlines in the media did Grace give them money to post it viral cause this girl just dont give up that nobodies care what she does say or do she just cant accept the fact that she is not likeable actress!!!
Lol. I think she should join that show called worst cook in America from food network.
@cutie777 I agree with you. That is supposed to be a lavish homecooked meal? I have seen dog food from a can, spread out in the dog’s bowl and it looked more appealing than Grace’s lavish meal. That is all I have to say about that.
@jjwong @bubbletea @jimmyszeto So, in your opinion, what is considered to be a lavish meal? Rice, vegetables, sushi, chicken, seafoods, noodles, pizza or hamburgers?
@unknown A lavish meal is a three to five cpurses or more meal that is not just of high quantity but of exceptionally high quality and presentation. I can’t honestly use those words to describe Grace’s two bit looking meal.
@unknown “Lavish meal” should be something that not only tastes good but also looks delicious. Sure, we don’t know how this taste, but the appearance is far from “lavish.” It looks cheaper and not on par with a “lavish meal.” Again, nothing against her since the writing (not her) is the turn-off/mismatch here.
this post must be from turbo mouth herself since the reporters can’t possibly get it. why is TVB giving this terrible actress so much face? she mentor kelly? come on!!! michael miu, vincent ng, or even jacqueline wong will do a million times better.
lord.. I thought those were garlic bread too. .Didn’t even think it could be salmon. Doesn’t look that bad though.
