Grace Chan Doesn’t Know What to Do for Kevin Cheng’s Birthday
Grace Chan (陳凱琳) and Shaopin Tsui (徐肇平) attended an anniversary event in Tuen Mun for the flagship shopping mall, V city, yesterday. Grace’s father was also present at the event to support his daughter.
This event is Grace and Shaopin’s first appearance together. Grace and Shaopin both grew up in Canada, but they did not meet each other until after they came to Hong Kong. “I recently found out that one of my best friends used to be Grace’s co-worker,” said Shaopin. Grace nodded and added, “His friend and I used to work in the same restaurant. What a small world.”
Speaking about V city’s second birthday celebration, Grace revealed that she likes to plan surprise birthday parties for her friends. However, when asked if she will organize a surprise party for boyfriend Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), who will be turning 45 on August 15, Grace said, “I’m not sure yet. He will be filming in Hengdian until the end of September. I’m not sure what to do.” Asking if she will go to Hengdian to celebrate his birthday instead, she said, “I can’t. I’m filming a drama now so I can’t leave.”
Grace said she has not prepared a present for Kevin yet. “Giving presents to guys is always the hardest, and [Kevin] doesn’t like sweets. Maybe I should ask Shaopin’s mother [Gigi Wong 黃淑儀] to teach me how to cook some dishes! I’ll cook him something when I have time.”

@mike I can’t tell if this is sarcasm or really offended. Either way, saving thyself for marriage isn’t JUST A Christian thing. IDK how this “saying” caught on bc it’s a total opposite in the US. The Christian kids here are usually the ones who do NOT wait until marriage. The non-Christian (i.e. Buddhist, Muslim) are raised to wait for marriage.

@mike They don’t. And that’s my point. Whoever and however the whole these girls (Grace, et el) are virgin just because they’re Christains are a pile of doo-doo. If you’re Christain, you’re not automatically wait until marriage and vice versa. These articles like to put the two like a cause-and-effect, which is false. /END of DISCUSSION
@jjwong As you already stated, the non-Christians actually practice what they preach and I see no problem with they follow their “rules”. But for Christians, there is ALSO a clear list of actions prohibited by the Bible. In the Bible, the biggest single set of crimes are sexual in nature. If you join a “club” you should follow the rules and practice what is being preached. Don’t go to church to meet boyfriends girlfriends… Leave it if you want to break all the rules. Don’t be a hypocrite.

@nomad822 bc apparently Grace and Kevin are HE’S “it” couple. IDK why or understand their hypes but it’s true. Next thing you know it, Grace will sneeze and Kevin gets sick a country away, there’ll be news about them being sympathetic with one another regardless of distance and space and time. Lol xD
