Grace Chan Hasn’t Celebrated Birthday with Family in 2 Years
TVB hosted a party for June birthday babies, which Grace Chan (陳凱琳) attended. Turning 25-year-olds on June 23rd, Grace revealed that she will be celebrating her quarter-century birthday at work. The actress has been cast in a new TVB drama with Edwin Siu (蕭正楠) and Ben Wong (黃智賢), and production is expected to start in the next few weeks.
Asking if she plans to celebrate her birthday with boyfriend Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), Grace admitted, “We’ll see if we have time. He’s also shooting a [TVB drama] right now. There’s a possibility that we might meet up in the studios.”
What Grace wants more, however, is to celebrate her birthday with close friends and family. The Blue Veins <殭> star said she hasn’t celebrated her birthday with her younger twin brother in two years. She also wants to use this time to celebrate Father’s Day as well.
Professing that she would love to have a small birthday party with friends, Grace was asked if she would be happy if Kevin baked a birthday cake for her. She laughed and said, “I don’t know if I’ll have the guts to eat it! But [Kevin] does have a lot of heart. He gives me surprises on special days.” (What about a marriage proposal on her birthday?) “That’s too much!”
