Grace Chan, Raymond Wong at “The Forgotten Valley” Celebration Banquet
The cast of the upcoming period drama, The Forgotten Valley <平安谷之詭谷傳說>, gathered for a celebration banquet recently. The drama features a large female cast consisting of Grace Chan (陳凱琳), Rebeca Zhu (朱晨麗), Louisa So (蘇玉華), Katy Kung (龔嘉欣), Toby Chan (陳庭欣), Cilla Kung (樂瞳), and Jess Shum (沈卓盈). Surrounded by his female colleagues while taking photos, Raymond blushed and joked that he was afraid of getting in trouble with his wife, Kaka Mok (莫家嘉).
Raymond and Grace portray a married couple in the drama and will have many sweet and romantic scenes. The costar’s onscreen sweetness may be comparable to Grace’s real-life romance with Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎). Grace recently shared a photo on social media of Kevin helping her clip off a hangnail and captioned, “Thank you for protecting me from the horrible world of hangnails. I am forever grateful. You are the best.” When teased about her public display of affection, Grace unabashedly gushed, “That day while eating, he noticed I had a hangnail, so he helped me clip it off. It was quite sweet. These small things show how attentive and caring he is towards me.”
Rebecca Zhu’s Bad Luck While Filming
Rebecca also has a significant supporting role in the upcoming drama. However, the 29-year-old actress seems to always be wrought with bad luck during work. In addition to an unfortunate mosquito bite that caused her forehead to swell up while filming Recipes to Live By <味想天開>, Rebecca was ill throughout the filming for The Forgotten Valley.
She shared, “I went to see the doctor before coming [to the celebration banquet]. Earlier, I continued to work while being sick. There was one day where I had to go to the hospital to get a shot. The producer was very understanding and switched my filming schedule.”
When probed about whether she has a boyfriend to help care for her while sick, she teased, “My male fans told me to take care of my health. Also, the cast, crew, and director gave me medicine.”
