Grace Chan Wants to Film an Ad with Kevin Cheng
Currently filming Brother’s Keeper 2 <巨輪2>, Grace Chan (陳凱琳) recently attended a promotional event for a brand name watch. Appearing at the event in a sexy white tube top dress, Grace showed off her figure and was the star of the event.
Grace revealed that she will be meeting good friend Eliza Sam (岑麗香) for a flight to Singapore for an awards ceremony. As one of the hosts of the awards ceremony, Grace has been arranged by the company to have a singing performance. In preparation for her performance, Grace revealed that she had asked her boyfriend, Kevin Cheng (鄭嘉穎), for pointers.
In a recent interview, Kevin expressed that he would not mind partnering with Grace for work appearances. In response, Grace said, “If that’s true, then it would be good experience.” When asked whether they would charge more while working as a couple, Grace said, “A reasonable price is okay. The most important thing is to film it well. Like Sean Lau (劉青雲) and his wife, Amy Kwok (郭藹明), for example. [They] are very successful.”

@freedalas I’m talking about your favorite guy WCL and unless you know Leanne personally, then her “materialistic outlook” in life have nothing to do with you. Reporter can report anything they want, it doesn’t mean it’s true. Like most people in this forum is trying to tell you. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, what you find ugly doesn’t mean it’s ugly for other. Learn to look beyond the outer surface for once. @freedalas like I want to point out ONCE AGAIN, your term of beauty/ugly is YOUR opinion! It’s a fact that he is short but it’s YOUR opinion that he is not a beauty. If you don’t see the connection then that is not my problem. If you are already having issue understanding what I am trying to say when I put it in such simple terms, I don’t think you can handle it if I put it in harder terms.

@freedalas Even my daughter who is in 2nd grade can tell you the difference between a “fact” and an “opinion.” Short = fact. Beauty = opinion. So what can I say. 1.) I never once said that people with outward beauty can’t possess inner beauty. Once again shoving what you think what we said down our throat.
2.) You do know that Miss HK is a joke right? As in even before the competition is over the winner is picked. If you have followed the same Miss HK where Grace won, there were talks about her being too skinny throughout competition. So are you saying all those people are wrong too? Even Eric Tseng made a comment on stage on how skinny she was. You call that of having a nice body? We said that is skin and bone. That’s when you go and told isay that she need to expand her appreciation of beauty and that’s when I said you are a hypocrite because you always bash a certain celebrity for being ugly when not everyone thing he is ugly. I wrote before on this blog that I rooted for Grace at Miss HK and was happy when she won. Why? Because she was very calm and witty on stage and speak very well. @freedalas you need to understand that those are reports written by “reporters.” And you know how they always embellish stuff and it’s really not WCL or L fault that they like to write all these garbage news about them. So unless you know WCL or Leanne personally you can’t say they don’t truly love each other. And I did read your other post in regards to her being able to find a guy who looks good and treat her well but my thought when I read that was. Why does she have to find someone that other people think will matches her? Why can’t she like WCL even though he is short and to some people eye is not attractive? Why is it necessary for people to think just because she is pretty she need to find someone just as pretty when she’s ok with WCL? Unlike you I don’t find him buying her stuff as showing off or that she is materialistic. Instead I find that he has complete trust in his wife to manage his assets. A perfect figure to me is someone who looks healthy. Grace does not look healthy to me. Liked i said, she is skin and bone. And honestly, many people in Asia like this lollipop look. people with big head because their body is like a stick. @freedalas Generally speaking Asians especially in HK they equate having a boy’s body or a 12 year old pubescent girl’s body as ideal for the body of a young woman. Technically speaking Grace has a figure if you call being a beanpole a figure. She is too thin. If she appears thin now in TV, in person she is probably tiny and flat and resembled the number “1”. So to be fair, I wouldn’t say she has a beautiful figure but since some do prefer a malnourished anaroxic look, she may be the ideal. Again it is hardly her choice if what she said about her figure is true. That is genetics whilst there are plenty of TVB actresses who dieted themselves to like a skeleton and never were there so much talk on their figure. But if there is fat shaming,there should be the opposite, thin shaming. I know it is not her choice but let’s not glorify her figure. She won Miss HK for her looks (not figure), her ability to interact intelligently with the audience and you gotta admit, she does give the confident bubbly vibe. It is hard to dislike her, even if generally almost everyone hates her acting for now. I still see great potential in her.

@happybi yeah, you are right, many times these happens and celebrity looks completely different in real life. However, Hong Kong actors that I’ve met look quite similar in terms of looks (face).
Such as Edwin, he always have boyish look to me and seems like average size on scene to me or even slightly smaller built compared to most mature actors.
However, in real life he is quite tall and macho… I don’t know if it happens to be that he is training for his drama but he was quite fit when I happen to meet him.
As for grace, I didn’t pay much attention to her but she didn’t appear to be very thin. She appeared to be slightly bigger built and 7lbs more? But overall she still appears thin though.
@happybi but Eliza seems to be what you are referring to. Eliza looks chubby onscreen, but she is actually similar to grace in terms of size! She was quite slim except for a chubbier face(you know what people say chubby face makes people look bigger).But they look taller and bigger built, Eliza was no exception just that she wasn’t that chubby. This was an opinion of mine, like camera always faces their face so that was a conclusion I made until I saw her in real life.

@freedalas simple answer: the judges gave her high points for other factors. I did think she’s charming and intelligent but good figure…..nah! You reslly need to update yourself that nowadays beauty contestants are judged not so much on their figures as compared to the past when a bimbo with great figure is more likely to be crowned than someone with some intelligence but not that great a figure.
