Han So Hee to Star in Netflix’s “Undercover”
Breaking out from The World of the Married this year, South Korean actress Han So Hee‘s next project, Undercover, is met with high expectations. In this upcoming Netflix original series, she will be starring alongside her The World of the Married co-star Lee Hak Joo, Park Hee Soon, Kim Sang Ho, and Itaewon Class star Ahn Bo Hyun.
Making a strong impression on audiences with her fatal charms as a mistress in The World of the Married, So Hee garnered mass praises for her good looks and acting skills. Achieving excellent results from just a supporting role, many are looking forward to her performance in Undercover as the lead actress.
Undercover is not like other spy stories where an undercover cop infiltrates a gang and exposes their dirty laundry. Instead, this drama takes on a twist: The daughter of a gangster, Yoon Ji Woo (played by So Hee), joins the police force to discover the truth behind her father’s death and seek revenge. Aside from the expected intense action scenes, viewers should also look forward to the insights behind Ji Woo’s psyche and motives.
Ji Woo’s fellow drug squad detective, Jeon Pil Do (played by Bo Hyun), later realizes that she may not be as innocent as she seems and eagerly seeks to find out her true motives. Bo Hyun’s role is highly anticipated by viewers, as he will be playing a decisive and upright character, which strongly differs from his villainous murder role in Itaewon Class.
Joining Bo Hyun and So Hee is Hak Joo, who has appeared in romcom Sweet Munchies and mystery drama Private Lives. He will be portraying Jung Tae Ju, a loyal member of the same organization as Ji Woo.
