Hana Kuk is Shy About Dating Rumors with Ron Ng

Born in the Year of the Tiger, Hana Kuk (菊梓喬) is expected to have a difficult year ahead according to Chinese fortunetelling. Although Hana has never been superstitious, she heeded her friends’ advice that it would not hurt to counteract the bad luck since she is a celebrity.

Consulting a feng shui master, Hana was advised to prepare many things over the next two years leading to 2024. “They said that I am the type of person who is easily unhappy and tends to overthink. They told me to try be happy as I will get sick if I am unhappy. In my mind, I am a very positive person because I always face adversity with a positive mindset. I’ve accepted that the world is a very realistic place. I was very stubborn in the past, and would always argue and refuse to give in to my two bosses. Now, I’m easygoing and pretty calm.”

As to whether she received a fortunetelling on her relationship luck, Hana will leave it up to fate. “It’s about feelings, and we need to mutually like each other!” However, she shared that she wants to date and get married, “I’ve always wanted to start a family since I was young, but it really isn’t easy…. I am currently waiting–I feel that I’m the type of person who would elope quickly if I meet someone that I like.”

She does not mind if he also works in the entertainment industry, but is adamant about waiting for the right one. Asked if she currently has pursuers, Hana replied, “Some. I don’t dare think about it. I’m the kind of person who will get scared the more I want something. I need to think about it first.”

When asked about her dating rumors with Ron Ng (吳卓羲), she shyly dodged the question stating that he did not come to watch the New Year’s Eve concert for her performance. “He came to watch Aaron Kwok (郭富城), and I just so happened to be there! He only came to watch a show, and now you guys are already asking if we’re dating.”

As they are friends, Ron did ask if she had extra tickets. “I gave them to him, but I don’t know if he ended up buying [tickets] himself.” Continuing to give vague answers, Hana said they are currently good friends and that she likes good people. As to whether she would consider him, she replied, “Okay, I guess!”
