“Heart of Greed 3” Will Not Be Bosco Wong’s Last TVB Drama

Bosco Wong (黃宗澤), who has been with TVB since his acting debut in 1999, is nearing the expiration date of his TVB management contract. It has been widely speculated that Heart of Greed 3 <溏心風暴3>, which announced his casting in October, will be Bosco’s last television drama with TVB.

At the filming of TVB’s 2017 Sales Presentation a few days ago, reporters chatted with Bosco and asked him if Heart of Greed 3 would be his farewell project with TVB. Bosco joked, “My farewell project? I’m not dead yet!”

Bosco has a great relationship with his mother station, and he will continue to work for the station regardless of the status of his contract. “TVB raised me. It’s a special relationship. After all, I was raised in Hong Kong. My first job after graduating [high school] was at TVB.”

Asking if it was true that he would not renew his contract once it expires, Bosco said, “I cannot disclose details about my contract. This is a business secret. I don’t want to get sued! Don’t ask me this question yet! If there are new developments, I’ll make sure to let everyone know.”

Bosco said he will continue to balance his career in both Mainland China and Hong Kong in the future. “It’s true that we get higher pay in the mainland, but if you’re asking me to stay there for 365 days in a year, then no. I wouldn’t be able to handle it.”
