Hera Chan: “I’m Still Getting to Know Brian Chu”

Rumored to be taking her relationship with Brian Chu (朱敏瀚) to the next level, Hera Chan (陳曉華) was questioned about their marriage rumors.  Although Hera denied the marriage rumors, she did not outright deny the relationship and expressed they have not known each other well enough yet.

At an event for TVB drama Golden Forest <金式森林>, Hera appeared vibrant but coy. Teased that she was basking in the honeymoon phase of her relationship, Hera replied, “I was at home and slept for 12 hours, so I  regained my youth and energy.” On whether she was planning to wed Brian at the end of the year, Hera said, “Of course not! Due to filming, I was ill when I returned to Hong Kong. I saw the news [about the marriage rumors] and wasn’t sure how to respond. However, because I was so ill, I decided to just continue sleeping and think about it later.”

On what her current status was with Brian, Hera coyly replied, “I’m focusing on work right now. I just finished filming a drama. If I have time, I would like to get to know those around me better. We’re just friends. Work comes first. I just finished filming, so I didn’t have time for anything. We’ll see if I have time afterwards.”

On whether she was opposed to dating, Hera said, “I’ve never been against it. Although I’m putting work first, those two things can happen simultaneously. Fate and timing have never been right. I’m strange because once I’m done filming a drama, I’ll disappear so it is hard for me to maintain relationships.”

When asked on her thoughts about Brian, Hera said, “I haven’t gotten to know him well enough yet. Let us get to know each other better first. I can’t define what type he is yet. The director taught me to never see things only from the surface level and that I must see things in depth clearly first. I’ll be able to form a conclusion after some time of getting to know him.”
