Him Law and Moses Chan Film for “Armed Reaction 2020”

Him Law (羅仲謙), Moses Chan (陳豪), and Joyce Tang (滕麗名) were seen on the streets filming for Armed Reaction 2020 <陀槍師姐 2020> recently.  Him stated that in his career, Armed Reaction 2020 is his most physically strenuous role to-date as the drama had the most action scenes. He joked that he is in charge of the action, while Moses is in charge of the emotional scenes.

In the scene, Him was threatened with a gun and he had to jump off a tall building later.  Seen wearing a tank top for his action scenes, Him was asked if he has lost weight since filming, he replied, “I’ve lost a bit of weight. We’ve been filming overnight for the past few days. It was already dawn when I returned home. I watched my wife [Tavia Yeung (楊怡)] feed the baby for a bit and then headed to bed.”

Recently, their two-month-old daughter was not feeling well and Him praised Tavia for being a supermom. “Even though we have a post-natal care helper, Tavia is a quick learner and has already learned 80 to 90 percent of her skills. I completely trust she [can handle the baby].” When asked if they plan on having another child, Him said the couple will wait a bit longer as Tavia would have to rest at least nine months to a year first. With a busy filming schedule ahead, once Him completes Armed Reaction 2020, he has another drama lined up for July.

On the filming set, Moses and Joyce were seen in brightly-colored exercise outfits as their characters prepare to infiltrate a criminal’s lair. Although Moses did have some action requirements, he was able to finish the shot in a few takes. While Joyce does not have to fight as she is a high ranking police officer, she has a big challenge which is to memorize dialogue in Thai. Joyce said, “I’ve been trying my best, and now I even speak Thai in my dreams!”
