Him Law Teased for Avoiding Tavia on Set of “Modern Dynasty”

Celebrity couple Him Law (羅子溢) and Tavia Yeung (楊茜堯) are over the moon with the birth of their second son and are taking a well deserved break after filming Modern Dynasty. Since Him and Tavia reportedly avoided each during filming, their co-stars had fun teasing the couple about getting pregnant despite their lack of interaction.

In the drama, Tavia had many intimate scenes with both Raymond Wong (黃浩然) and Chilam Cheung (張智霖), while Him had a romantic plot line with Rain Li (李彩華). When Him was asked if it was awkward to film intimate scenes while his wife was on set, the actor responded, “No! We read the script together at home so we knew what was going to happen.”

Him continued, “We always thought about our co-stars because if I was in Raymond and Chilam’s shoes, I wonder if I would be embarrassed. So when we were on set; for example, when I met Rain for the first time, I told her to never feel embarrassed and to always let herself go. My wife and I understand. I think my wife said the same thing for Raymond.”

As Him and Tavia had few scenes together, the couple often tried to avoid each other. Raymond recalled a time when Tavia was having a stomach ache but he was baffled that Him didn’t seem to care, “They deliberately avoided each other on set and would not interact. One time, I was left wondering why they were like that. Tavia was in pain but Him walked away! He didn’t care!”

Although Him replied that he actually walked away to get painkillers, Raymond took advantage of the situation and teased Him, “Is there a problem in your marriage? Thinking about it now, they were probably busy getting pregnant around [the time of filming]. If Tavia was busy and you were sleeping separately, how did it happen?” Him turned bright red from the question and did not respond.
