Him Law’s Birthday Celebration

Him Law (羅仲謙) is currently busy filming for TVB drama The Witness <木棘證人>. A child at heart, he has been constantly reminding the crew that it was his birthday on August 28 but his three costars Pinky Cheung (張文慈), Sammi Cheung (張秀文), and Kelly Cheung (張曦雯) ignored him and went about filming as usual. It turns out that this was all a pretense and they had planned a birthday celebration all along.

When Him finished his last scene, Pinky who plays his sister came on set with a cake. Him was very surprised and touched as the entire crew sang Happy Birthday. This was the first time his co-stars have arranged to celebrate his birthday.

Everyone joked that they wished Him to have two babies in three years. In regards to his birthday wish, Him said that he needed to keep it a secret or it would not come true. However, he said, “Everyone already knows what I want,” alluding to the open secret that he would like to become a father. He added that the most important thing is that his wife Tavia Yeung (楊怡) and he are both healthy and everyone around them is happy.

Him joked that Kelly and Pinky were both lucky charms as their co-star Joe Ma (馬德鐘) from Life on the Line <跳躍生命線> was able to win TV King. Pinked laughed and said that she wished for him to be the oldest winner of the Most Improved Award. Him shot back, “Getting an award is great, but I’ve already won the TV Queen and brought her home. Isn’t that even better?”
