He wrote, “Sorry for not being able to respond to media friends and everyone’s calls and messages. There was an accident during filming. I am grateful that my recovery is on track this week. For the time being I have to continue resting well, and hope to be able to return to work as soon as possible. News Was Deliberately Sealed?
Previously, TVB Deputy General Manager in Program and Production, Felix To (杜之克), had commented, “The company films so many programs a day and there are bound to be small mishaps. This time it’s not a serious matter, and we would not treat it as a publicity stunt, nor did we intentionally hide the news.” He added that the artiste department will give a uniform response, and admitted that the drama’s shooting progress will be more or less affected.
TVB Executive Virgina Lok (樂易玲) had said, “Hubert injured his head while filming an action scene for The Exorcist’s Meter 2.0, and has undergone detailed scans and checks at the hospital. He is fine but still needs to stay for a period of rest. Thank you everyone for your concern.”
