“Idol Producer” Winner Cai Xukun Gets New Movie with Zanilia Zhao
Rising idol star Cai Xukun (蔡徐坤), who won first place in the Chinese survival show Idol Producer <偶像练习生> and the main visual of the rookie boy band Nine Percent, is in for the real deal.
The 19-year-old will soon be starring in a movie adaptation of the fantasy novel Way of Choices <择天记> written by Mao Ni (). The novel was already adapted into the TV drama Fighter of the Destiny back in 2017.
According to the reports, Cai Xukun would be starring alongside Zanilia Zhao (赵丽颖) in the blockbuster film. Zanilia is well-known for being the ratings queen of primetime television, as her previous dramas The Journey of Flower <花千骨> and Princess Agents <楚乔传> were all national hits.

I find the Fighter Destiny drama to be really bad, not because of the bad castings but the story itself and way it was directed was bad as well.
