Is Jackson Lai Going to Be a Dad?
TVB actor Jackson Lai (黎振燁) is known as a dedicated husband and he often thanks his wife for her unwavering support as he chases his dream to become an artiste. Having dated for 10 years and married for five years, Jackson always wanted to be a dad. While currently busy filming Brain-Eating Zombie <食腦喪B>, Jackson may have slipped that he and his wife are expecting a child soon.
As Jackson will be playing a fatherly figure in his new drama, he was also asked about his own family plans. Emphasizing his wish to start a family, Jackson replied, “As a man, of course I would want [a child]. As to when, it is not convenient for me to say. I am working hard. Maybe tomorrow [there will be good news to announce].”
However, when Jackson was asked if he is waiting for the first trimester to pass before officially announcing the good news, Jackson responded, “I can’t answer you. You can guess. Wait a little and you will get it.”
Tried Different Methods to conceive
With the intention of starting a family, Jackson and his wife had taken a physical examination prior to their wedding. While the doctor confirmed the couple was healthy, they haven’t been successful conceiving during their five-year marriage.
Previously during the filming of OMG, Your Honour <是咁的，法官閣下>, Jackson asked fellow artiste, Oscar Leung (梁烈唯) for advice. Although Jackson followed Oscar’s advice, Jackson was unable to share any good news at that time and said, “We’re ready to be parents. Let’s see when God will arrange this fate for us.”
Previously, Jackson said he has no preferences on having a son or a daughter as long as the baby is healthy, happy and able to learn good values. However, Jackson admitted that he would be stricter in raising a son: “Boys bear a heavier responsibility. I am not biased, but I think boys need to withstand the wind and waves. I would probably treat my daughter gentler.”

Quite unfair to Mr hk contestants. They are subscribed class compare to ms HK. Tvb has been putting them on the back burner.
I don’t know if that’s really his wife but she seems very young and like a teenager girl? If he’s going to be a dad then good for him it’s just not a right time to become a parents but understand accidents happen just hope they’re safe.
@cutie777 Some probably just look young and not in real age. Some women can still look very cute in their mid 30’s and some like Rebecca Zhu and Kelly Cheung barely in their 30’s and already have ‘see lai’ look esp Rebecca Zhu. haha Kelly Cheung looks pretty but just a more matured face. I do not know the guy but I heard he did a tvb series which I didn’t watch.
@wm2017 I know what you mean but I think Kelly Cheung looks way older than her age. Maybe because too much plastic surgery?
