Itinerary of Moses Chan and Aimee Chan’s Paris Trip Revealed

On June 12, Aimee Chan (陳茵媺) made a surprising announcement through Weibo that she and Moses Chan (陳豪) are married. In hopes of avoiding the Hong Kong press, Moses and Aimee held a secret wedding in Paris. Although the two were in France, reporters still managed to successfully track them down. Photographs of their five days spent in Paris were revealed.

At 11 p.m. on June 8, Moses, his mother, and his eldest brother were spotted at Hong Kong International Airport. Fifteen minutes later, Aimee appeared accompanied by Moses’ manager. The group then set off for Paris on different flights. Moses and Aimee were on the same plane, enjoying business class seats. Moses’ family members were on another plane in premium economy class seats. Aimee’s family boarded a flight to Paris from Canada.

Moses and Aimee’s flight landed in Paris first, and the two took a hotel shuttle bus to La Reserve Hotel. It is located in the center of downtown Paris, close to the Eiffel Tower. Both their family members stayed at Metropolitan Hotel, which is just down the street. Moses was spotted heading into a nearby flower shop to plan fresh bouquets for the wedding. At noon, Aimee and Moses, along with their family members, met for lunch at Café du Trocadero. The two families seem to have a good relationship, chatting and laughing nonstop. Moses’ mother was seen chatting closely with Aimee’s mother, while Moses’ eldest brother accompanied Aimee’s father the entire time.

After taking a few hours break inside the hotel, Moses and Aimee went shopping on Avenue des Champs-Élysées. They exhibited intimate behavior all along in the romantic city. While waiting for a taxi, Moses hugged Aimee from the back and kissed her head ten times. He also placed his hands over Aimee’s belly, which is reportedly carrying a three-month baby. Although Aimee’s belly is still not apparent, her hip has become noticeably wider.

That night, Aimee went on a dinner date with two close friends, Priscilla Chi (戚黛黛) and Heidi Chu (朱凱婷), at the 58 Tour Eiffel Restaurant. They were the only ones from the entertainment industry who went to Paris for the wedding.

On the morning of June 10, Moses, Aimee, and family members were seen carrying fabric and objects in preparation for the wedding. The rest of the day was spent organizing and preparing wedding arrangements.

After the wedding was held, the group left Paris immediately. Moses returned to Hong Kong for work, while Aimee flew to Toronto with her family. One of Aimee’s close friends revealed, “Aimee hasn’t decided whether she wants to give birth in Toronto or Hong Kong yet. Her family wishes she would stay in Toronto so they can take care of her. The environment is also better with the lack of reporters following around. But Moses accepted new work, and would be unable to stay in Toronto for long, so the decision still hasn’t been made.”

It was reported that approximately $3 million HKD was spent for the Paris trip, including airfare, hotel expenses, and wedding arrangements. The wedding venue and banquet itself cost $1 million HKD.

  1. I do believe whenever in HK gossip mag which says “there is a rumour..” is usually 90% true.

    1. Funn,
HK industry is small so the gossip spreads around quickly. Tabloids must pay the informers well too.

    2. that’s what I thought as well…. somehow some point.. I think themselves are the one leak out the informations

    3. I don’t quite believe that, UNLESS it is a reoccurring rumour that is reported over and over and over again, or is something really obvious. I have seen through the years, that even IF it is a HK gossip mag just because they said “there is a rumour”, it is not necessarily always true.

    4. Yes 90% true if not this tabloid how on earth they could simply create their own gossips…out of no way….to start from…and end.

    5. Agree. In Chinese, there is a saying “空月來風, 未必無因”. The more I hear, the more I know it is (or will be) true.

  2. Have the baby in canada… free health care!

      1. eh not that bad with the waits lol still free 😀

      2. Healthcare in Canada is not free! Citizens are taxed heavily (upwards of 40% from each paycheque) to pay for services such as healthcare. Those who think it’s free either don’t have a job or don’t live in Canada.

      3. hgfdd, not bad with waits?

Are you kidding me? My mother has been suffering for 2-years waiting for her surgery.

A dog can get the same surgery in a week or two.

      4. I heard that Canada does not do surgeries right away even when it is urgent. I wonder why?? What if someone had a life threatening disease and needed surgery right away? I think that is where the US is better in terms of health care. Even though it is expensive in the US, they would do surgery right away when needed.

I also don’t regard the healthcare in Canada as being free when everyone pays such high tax rates. That is how it is in Europe as well I think. I used to have a friend that lived in Denmark where they paid around 50% of their paycheck to taxes but did not have to pay for healthcare or a few public services due to the high tax rate. Therefore, in a sense it is not free if you work and pay taxes. They also got a high amount of welfare and was almost as high as the amount you get when you work a normal job. My brother’s friend lived in Norway and life there is boring, but they said they can raise their citizens for up to 60 years even if they did not want to work. However, many do not want to live there due to the cold weather and boring life.

      5. @Mr. Lee,
Why doesn’t your mom come to the US for her surgery??

      6. Sicko = best movie when it comes to discussing healthcare.

        ^ it’s a real documentary focusing on healthcare 🙂

      7. HeTieShou, she doesn’t want to pay upwards to $5,000 for the surgery in the US whereas she pays $200 with government coverage here in Canada.

      8. @Mr.Lee,
I know it is expensive in the US, but when it comes to health, money is only secondary. All of the money in the world cannot buy back your health once it is too late.

  3. oh no – Nicholas Sparks! haha, maybe Aimee is being droll.

  4. She looks so fake in the picture above. At first glance it seems natural, but the longer you look at the picture above, the easier you can see that she is actually posing rather than looking the window naturally. If you look at the picture above carefully, you can get the impression that the way she looks at the window is like she already knows somebody is taking a picture of her.

    1. Wow, you are amazing. Such brilliant observation!

LOL! Of course she knew someone was taking a photo of her.

    2. Everyone poses for pictures, what’s the big deal?

    3. The big deal is she looks fake when posing for pictures.

      1. dont we all look kinda fake when we pose for a pic? LOL

  5. Then why did she lie about being traditional and getting married first and that she isn’t pregnant when its obvious? It’s that superstitious three month rule?

    1. I don’t believe in that 3 month superstition since my sister in law told us right way when she was pregnant and my nephews are fine. Stefanie Sun told everyone before the 3 month rule that she was pregnant and her son is fine. Therefore, I feel that 3 month myth is just old school thinking that is not true.

  6. I also think Aimee should have her baby in Canada. First, he/she will be a Canadian born citizen who will enjoy all the benefits here, including schooling and health care throughout his/her whole life. Moreover, her family can take good care of her. Perhaps she can go back to Canada after a few months’ pregnancy (as allowed by airlines) to give birth to her child.
