IU and Park Bo Gum in Talks for New Drama
Many netizens are keeping an eye out for an upcoming drama in which the media reported that IU and Park Bo Gum are considering taking the lead roles.
The new drama, Life (tentative title) is backed by a renowned production team that consists of director Kim Won Seok, who previously helmed, My Mister and screenwriter Im Sang Choon whose work included When the Camellia Blooms and Fight My Way.
IU and Park Bo Gum previously worked together for a commercial in 2012 and fans are excited to see the two reunite. Both the stars have shown growth in the entertainment industry over the past 10 years – IU is beloved for her singing career as well as for her acting projects while Park Bo Gum has proven himself to be a capable actor.
Although many fans are hopeful to see the two stars collaborate, the star’s agency have not offered any confirmation. IU’s agency responded to the report and clarified that the drama is one of the many projects that IU is considering, and Park Bo Gum’s agency revealed that “there have not been any discussion in regard to appearing in the drama.”
