IU and Park Seo Joon to Lead New Film “Dream”
After finding success in their individual dramas, popular stars IU and Park Seo Joon are teaming up for the upcoming movie Dream.
In Dream, Park Seo Joon plays a soccer player facing the greatest challenge in his career as he becomes a coach to a special national soccer team for homeless people. Although the team lacks experience and drive, the team will have to come together to play for the Homeless World Cup. IU plays an aspiring documentary producer who builds her career by following and filming the soccer team’s competitive journey.
While filming began in May, it was only revealed that Kang Ha Neul will be making a guest appearance. The artiste’s agency confirmed that Kang Ha Neul accepted the cameo as a friend of director Lee Byung Hun, Park Seo Joon, and IU.
Kang Ha Neul is very familiar with the Dream’s director and main cast through his previous works as he had worked with Lee Byung Hun in the 2015 film Twenty and collaborated with Park Seo Joon in the 2017 film Midnight Runner. In addition, Kang Ha Neul filmed with IU in the 2016 drama Scarlet Heart: Goryeo.
Dream is set to premiere in 2021.
