Jackson Wang Responds to Dating Rumors With Song Yuqi
Since GOT7 disbanded, Jackson Wang (王嘉爾) has been busy developing his solo career in China and South Korea. It is recently rumored that he is dating fellow K-pop group (G) I-DLE member Song Yuqi (宋雨琦), when she was spotted visiting his home.
Paparazzi caught Jackson’s chauffeur picking Yuqi up from her hotel, and driving her to Jackson’s home where she allegedly spent the night. The next morning, the driver returned to the hotel and picked up Yuqi’s assistant and then returned to Jackson’s home. Afterward, he drove both the assistant and Yuqi back to the hotel. Yuqi left Jackson’s home full of smiles and holding a bouquet of roses, thus fueling the rumors.
Many people have hoped for the pair to be dating, but Jackson and Yuqi emphasized many times that they only have a “brother sister” relationship.
Yesterday, the same whistleblower claimed that 15 days after Song Yuqi left on a flight for South Korea, Jackson’s chauffeur was seen driving two women to Jackson’s home for another gathering.
Jackson’s Response
Issuing a statement through his company, Jackson said the tabloid report deliberately distorted facts to mislead the public by using the words “overnight,” “roses,” and “two women” in its headlines. Jackson stated that it is normal for friends to gather together, but the whistleblower had violated artiste’s privacy rights in its report. Thanking fans for their support, Jackson said he will continue to focus on his career and release more noteworthy works.

Remember that other kid that was friends with Jackson (can’t remember his name now), who was involved with the scandal about using fans for money/$ex who also happened to be from HK? One of his victims spilled the beans that the other HK/Korean celebrity has a GF. And from what I know, there’s not that many HK/Korean artists and even less that knows this kid…so it’s gotta be Jackson. So this is to say Jackson prob has a GF.
Not surprised if they are actually dating. Jackson is outcoming and has a likable personality, but since they are both idols their managers might not let them announce the relationship.
