Jacky Heung’s Kidneys are Similar to a 70-Year-Old Man

Earlier in March, Taiwanese actress and model Bea Hayden Guo (郭碧婷) accepted a proposal from Jacky Heung (向佐). As the son of China Star Entertainment Limited’s CEO Charles Heung (向华强), Jacky was considered to be an enviable catch. Despite his vigorous appearance, the 35-year-old martial arts star’s rapid health decline is quite alarming.

Things always moved fast in Jacky and Bea Hayden’s relationship. He asked her to marry him after only three months of dating. Though the couple are in the middle of planning their wedding, they are already eager to expand their family by having children.

On the variety show  Mr. & Mrs. <我家小兩口>, they would often display their affection for each other. In the newest episode, the two were seen at a clinic doing their premarital examination. Though Jacky spent many years training in martial arts, the results were shocking when it revealed that his kidneys are in extreme decline.

He said, “I will try to do a check-up three times a year. I am surprised that my kidneys are similar to those of a 70 year old!”

The news of the state of his kidneys was a shock, as Jacky is only 35 years old. His kidneys were damaged from taking long-term pain killers to manage his frequent pain in his limbs and shoulders over many years.

Jacky’s greatest fear is that his kidney decline may hinder with their baby making plans. He has been seeking doctors and taking medication to improve his health. Bea Hayden and Jacky both hope to have a child in the Year of the Rat because he and his father are also under the same sign. They also want to have at least one boy and girl to create their perfect family.
