Jacqueline Wong Helps Kenneth Ma Relieve Stress?
The following article includes spoilers for My Dearly Sinful Mind, airing Monday, April 3, 2017.
Teased about his rumored relationship with Jacqueline Wong (黃心穎), Kenneth Ma (馬國明) said dating is one of the many activities that can help him relieve stress. Maybe that is what he has been doing with Jacqueline?
This past weekend, the cast of TVB’s new drama My Dearly Sinful Mind <心理追兇 Mind Hunter>, including Kenneth Ma, held a promotional event for the series. The psychological thriller, co-starring Sisley Choi (蔡思貝), Mat Yeung (楊明), Raymond Cho (曹永廉), Grace Wong (王君馨), and Ngo Ka-nin (敖嘉年), premieres Monday, April 3.
On the show, Kenneth plays TY, a clinical psychologist who applies psychology in assisting police investigations. TY suffers from a mental illness himself, as he often hallucinates his dead girlfriend (portrayed by Roxanne Tong 湯洛雯).
“She was wrongfully killed, so I’m in this constant state of self-deprecating,” introduced Kenneth. “I get hallucinations and she’d appear in them and talk to me. It’s quite bizarre!” (Would you go through self-deprecation when you miss your girlfriend?) “That has never happened to me. I would usually try to find ways to relax myself, like exercising.”
The 43-year-old actor has been busy with the filming of TVB’s Deep in the Realm of Conscience <宮心計2深宮計>. In the period epic, Kenneth plays a couple with Jacqueline Wong, his rumored girlfriend. Asking if “dating Jacqueline” would also be a way to relieve stress, Kenneth laughed, “We’re not dating! At the moment, most of my scenes are with Edwin Siu (蕭正楠)! I’ve yet to have scenes with her! But yes, dating would be a way to relieve stress. Spending time with family is also another way.”
