Jiang Jinfu Cooperates with Japanese Police Over Domestic Violence Case
Jiang Jinfu‘s (蒋劲夫) domestic violence case has elevated, with the Japanese law enforcement officially issuing an arrest warrant for the Chinese actor. Today, Jiang Jinfu’s studio issued a statement, “Currently, Jiang Jinfu has taken the initiative to get in touch with the Japanese police and will cooperate with the investigation. Before the results of the investigation come out, please do not circulate any rumors.”
The 27-year-old Xuan-Yuan Sword: Scar of Sky <轩辕剑之天之痕> star issued an official apology after his girlfriend, Japanese model Haruka Nakaura (中浦悠花), told her Instagram followers that Jiang was physically abusive.
“The house was full of blood. When he got tired of hitting me, he would use his legs. I thought I was going to be killed,” Nakaura said during a Japanese television interview on Tuesday. “He knocked out two of my teeth. On the bad days, he would even use a hammer.”
Unable to withstand Jiang’s violence Nakaura reported her injuries to the police as soon as she had the opportunity. She was rushed to the hospital and underwent treatment for about a month.
As for Jiang’s arrest, Nakaura told reporters that she is not interested in Jiang’s money or any monetary compensation. All she wants is for Jiang to be prosecuted by the law.
Earlier this year, Jiang announced his temporary hiatus from the Chinese entertainment industry in order to focus on his studies in Japan. He confirmed his relationship with Nakaura in July 2018, but according to his close friends, it was a rocky relationship.
