Jay Chou and Hannah Quinlivan Trying for a Second Baby

After welcoming their first child, daughter Hathaway, in July 2015, Taiwanese pop star Jay Chou (周杰倫) and his wife Hannah Quinlivan (昆凌) have also said they want to have another baby.

There were rumors that Hannah had vomited several times while shooting the Chinese talent show Fantastic Baby <了不起的孩子>, and indeed, behind-the-scenes photos taken at the time showed Hannah looking pale and sick. Hannah even shared on the show that her New Year’s wish is to have another baby.

At an event Jay attended recently in Taiwan, he said Hannah has been diagnosed with Polycystic ovary syndrome, a hormonal disorder that can cause poor fertility. Jay said Hannah has been taking Chinese medication three times a day, along with her meals. Her vomiting was due to her medication.

Admitting that they’re trying to conceive another baby, Jay said with a laugh, “The doctor told us that we should ‘do our homework’ regularly.”
