Jennifer Shum Shares Her Wedding Photos

Actress Jennifer Shum (岑杏賢) married her non-celebrity boyfriend Kelvin Cheung earlier this week. The couple held a simple wedding ceremony under the witness of their family and good friends. Roxanne Tong (湯洛雯), Tracy Chu (朱千雪), Kayi Cheung (張嘉兒), and Angel Chiang (蔣家旻) were the bridesmaids.

Due to the pandemic, the couple was unable to have a big wedding, and limited attendance to only 40 guests including family members and close friends.

Sharing wedding photos with the media, Jennifer looked radiant in a simple white off-shoulder dress. The most unforgettable moment was when her father covered her face with her veil and led her out to the altar. “I saw my good friends crying and I couldn’t hold my tears back. I could tell that my father was also very reluctant to part, because I am an only child and the apple of my parent’s eyes.”

Though the wedding was simple, her closest friends’ attendance made it very memorable. Jennifer’s flower bouquet was handmade by Roxanne as a wedding gift. The bouquet toss was a very important tradition as it holds a lot of meaning for Jennifer, who caught the  bouquet at Tracy’s wedding in Bali last year, and became the next one to get married. When Angel caught the bouquet at Jennifer’s wedding, the bride hopes that her good friend will be the next one to find happiness.
