Jennifer Yu is Pregnant and Plans to Get Married in November
For the past two years, Jennifer Yu (余香凝) has been headlining tabloids, mainly due to her controversial breakup with Carlos Chan (陳家樂), in which it was suspected that she left the heartbroken actor for an insurance executive. Despite the notorious publicity, the 27-year-old continued to make strides in her acting and music career. This year will also be a major milestone, as Jennifer is reportedly pregnant and will have a flash wedding in November.
When reached for comments, Jennifer did not directly deny the news. “Sorry, I will not respond to personal matters,” she said. The actress’ manager was equally vague in her response, “Let me understand the situation. She is busy with work right now.”
It is speculated that Jennifer did want to confirm the news at this time because she is still early in her pregnancy and wants to announce it at a later time when things are more stable. She also wants to protect the identity of the father, who is a non-celebrity. However, she has been dropping hints that good news may be down the horizon, including a recent Instagram picture of her smiling sweetly where she captioned, “A moment worth remembering.”
Early in her career, Jennifer has mentioned her wish of starting her own family and stated that having a career will not deter her thoughts on marriage. In a previous interview, Jennifer even mentioned that she has plans to get married and have children within two years. When people commented and said getting married in the peak of her career is a waste, Jennifer retaliated, “Why is it a waste? For example, what if I work until I’m 40 years old and can’t have a child anymore? It’s not good for the body, and having a child will be harder. That’s the actual truth. I want to keep my life and career balanced.”

@wm2017 exactly not everyone thinks the same way some settle down in a late age or having kids in a late age too for example: Tavia and Nikki recently gives birth at the age 40 I think it’s not too bad as long the child are in a good health. I don’t really know who she is also all I know she is Carlos Chan ex girlfriend and she was in the series Flying Tigers 2? As for her age I think she’s considered young.
@cutie777 Yup, if a woman knows she wants to have children it is best to have it earlier than later that’s why I say she sounds matured and smart given her age. Personally, I think 27 is still relatively young but I do have cousins in HK/China/here ABC’s some were already married by the age of 27. The ABC is due to her hubby is white and a Mormon so there was a reason for that ;o) but they are very much financially stabled so do what you like. I find it even more odd that some gets married early and don’t even have a job those are an issue. haha lol…Yes, biologically of course it’s better to have them before 35 if you know and have a partner but hey if they still want to have them after 40 and still able to hooray for them. Personally, after 40 even if I am able to NO way in h*ll…haha lol…..
I didn’t even get pass an episode or two of Flying Tigers so I didn’t bother w/the sequel. She looks good based on the above pic and have a bit of matured look but still kinda attractive.
