Jinny Ng Looking to Buy a Luxury Home

After winning Song of the Year at the Jade Solid Gold Awards, Jinny Ng’s (吳若希) popularity skyrocketed. With her many endorsements and mini concerts, Jinny’s wealth soared to over $10 million HKD in just half a year.

A few days ago, the 23-year-old singer was spotted checking out a luxury property in Ho Man Tin while accompanied by a real estate agent. With her new income-earning ability, Jinny wants to purchase a three-room condo, and plans to live together with her family.

Jinny and the agent chatted for over half an hour at the venue. According to sources, Jinny was treated as a VIP guest.

Coming across reporters, Jinny admitted that she is interested in purchasing a large home for her family, but she denied buying the property she was looking at. “Just looking around! It’s out of budget! Right now, I still don’t know if I want to live it in myself or lease it out for rent.”

Jinny originally planned on purchasing a property which would cost $10,000 HKD per square feet, but the luxury homes she has been looking so far have exceeded her budget. “The ones I saw today cost from $20,000 to $30,000 HKD per square unit. However, it’s still good that I took a look. I will do more research on the different residential locations and property developers.”

Asked if Jinny has an ideal home market price, she said, “At least $8 to $9 million HKD. The problem is, I don’t know if this price would offer a good location, but the most important thing is for my family to live comfortably.”
