JJ Jia Announces Second Pregnancy
On JJ Jia’s (賈曉晨) 38th birthday on September 20, the actress dropped a surprise pregnant photo on social media, announce that she’s been pregnant with her second child for quite some time. According to reports, JJ is around seven months pregnant.
“Happy birthday to myself!” she wrote.
JJ married 48-year-old Hong Kong actor Louis Fan (樊少皇) in 2016. The couple have one daughter, born in November 2017. Louis also has a 22-year-old daughter and an 18-year-old son from his previous relationship with a non-celebrity.
The former TVB actress told the media that the second pregnancy was a surprise. She’s never considered having a second child. She had to turn down a period drama project after realizing she was pregnant. Upon reflection, JJ stated that she is glad to be pregnant again, as she would like her daughter to grow up with a companion.
JJ did not reveal her expected delivery date or the sex of the baby. Her husband Louis also stayed tight-lipped.
