Joel Chan’s Son Turns One
Actor Joel Chan (陳山聰) celebrated his first Father’s Day this year, with son Jaco turning one on July 1! The 44-year-old did not forget to thank his wife Apple Ho for “giving him a happy family.”
Before filming is due to start for his upcoming drama Invisible Team <隱形戰隊>, Joel celebrated with a hotel staycation and cozy birthday party, complete with personalized balloons and a tiered blue Mickey Mouse cake for Jaco.
While the little one looks unimpressed by the fuss Dad and Mom had gone to, he was all smiles when kissed in a commemorative photo. Penning his well wishes for Jaco, Joel wrote in a sentimental post, “Wishing my boss a very happy birthday. Daddy hopes you’ll grow up quickly into a healthy, intelligent, and handsome young man. Mommy and I’ll always love you.”
A hands-on dad, Joel had shared the little joys of parenting by learning to bathe his son and changing his diapers. The couple even started an Instagram account for Jaco just days after his arrival to share his milestones and memories.
