Joey Law and Katy Kung Star in New Drama “Hong Kong Love Story”

Joey Law (羅天宇), Katy Kung (龔嘉欣), Venus Wong (王敏奕), and Hana Kuk (菊梓喬) attended the blessing ceremony for their upcoming drama, Hong Kong Love Story <香港愛情故事>. Although they had worked together in the past, Joey admits that he doesn’t know Katy too well.

Joey recalls filming a historic drama with Katy, but the two never had any previous interactions. Katy believes that it is important to develop the chemistry in order to portray their characters well. As a married couple in the drama, they will have a lot of kissing scenes. Filming a bedroom scene on their first day of work together was a bit embarrassing.

Suggesting that the two could go to the gym together so that he could work on his abs, Joey revealed he will have a topless scene in which he will only wear his underwear. Katy didn’t realize this was in the script and joked, “That is shocking! I don’t know if I want to imagine that!”

Since there will be many kissing scenes, the two were asked if they would need to report this to their significant others. Katy is allegedly dating a rich Malaysian businessman, while Joey is speculated to be dating actress Joey Thye (戴祖儀). Joey immediately stated that he is still single, while Katy responded that she would not have any relationship with Joey so there shouldn’t be any misunderstandings.
